I got the opportunity to test out the new Luvs diapers– super absorbent night time leakguard. I was interested and excited to try out these new diapers. I had only tried Luvs one time before these diapers. When I got the package in the mail it came with a detailed box saying that I needed to spread the word about these new Luvs diapers. It was super cute and came with a whistle, speaker box, a secret file folder, and a package of Luvs diapers! This was so cool. I love the fact that the company put a lot of hard work and thought into the new diapers, and a cute thought at that!
After all this I decided I need to try the diapers out. I always strive for complete honesty in my blog posts. So I am going to be honest. The first thing I noticed about the diapers was the super stretchy sides. I don’t think I have ever had a diaper that has those stretchy sides.
It is so nice to pull the tab open and for it to just stretch forever. I felt like the daughter was very comfortable in the diaper. I thought there was only good things to come after seeing how nice the sides were.
So then the real test had to come, would these new diapers hold enough for my daughter? I can usually wait about 4 hours and then I will change my daughter in the normal diapers we use. I waited to see if these would hold for her. I had not even reached 4 hours as yet, and my daughter had leaked out of the diapers. I figured that maybe she had gone to the bathroom more than usual. So I changed her outfit and put another one on, only to have the same problem. Night time came and we decided to put her in yet another Luvs diaper, and the results in the morning were not good. Her onsie and pajama pants were completely soaked with urine.

I was coming to think that maybe these diapers weren’t for us. I know that every kid is different and that some kids do very well in some diapers while other kids don’t do well. I just figured my daughter didn’t fit right in these diapers.
I decided I needed to take action and contact the company with my problem. This next part (their response) is absolutely outstanding. I received an email back from them wanting to fix the problem for me. They wanted to help me in anyway possible. They were so nice and kind and would do anything to make these diapers right for my daughter and I. They offered to send me the next size up of diapers, and they said they would also reimburse me for the diapers that I bought. The company was so kind and nice and I want to thank them personally for the amazing customer service they gave me.
I did as the company suggested and bought the next size up for my daughter. Now, normally she is in size 4. She does leak every now in then, like if we don’t change her right away in the morning in the normal diapers we use. But I never thought to go a size up in the Luvs diapers.
When I put the size 5 diapers on her, and something happened! She didn’t leak out. Oh the wonders of moving your child a size up in diapers. I was so happy that they were starting to work. We haven’t had her sleep in the size 5 Luvs diapers as yet, but once she does I will add in how she did.
Although I did have a problem at first with the diapers, I can now say that the new Luvs super absorbent night time leakguard diapers do work for my daughter. I am additionally pleased with the diaper and the company for all the effort and hard work they put into making me a happy and satisfied customer, and my daughter.
(I got a picture of her standing still, I can’t believe I did that! Also, this is a full diaper for her in this picture, and she didn’t have a leak!
I do want to add one more thing about these new diapers. I was told directly from the company that the change they made to the diapers was that they added more absorbent material. (More padding, which isn’t a bad thing for babies, especially when they fall on their bottoms!) After hearing that I knew that I had to give the size 5 Luvs a try and I am so glad I did! I have added a video at the end of this post to show you more about #TheClueIsInTheBlue Luvs diapers. Be sure to check it out!
These new Luvs diapers are sold at Walmart, you can try these diapers out and see if they work for your child. Let me know what you think of them.
