My almost 5 year old was one of my more difficult children to shop for this year. He has recently grown out of the toddler toys but is too young for some of the toys made for kids elementary aged. Luckily I was able to find 5 toys that I know would work great for preschoolers including the crazy one I have! Check them out below.
CAT Construction Trucks
I know one thing that my son won’t grow out of any time soon and that is trucks. I love how these trucks won’t just be great for him, my preschooler, but will also be a fun thing for his brother, my toddler. It will be a lot of fun to take these outside and let them dig and play together! These trucks are great for preschoolers!
CAT Build Your Own Dump Truck
This is another fun truck from Funrise and CAT. Instead of being already built and ready for digging this one is a truck that needs to be put together. My son is always so curious about how things work and how things are put together that this toy will be a lot of fun for him. He will be able to build his own dump truck and then when he is done he will be able to play with it.
HeroDrive Marvel Mod Squad
Have you ever met a little boy who did not love superheros, or even just any kid? My son is no exception to this, he loves superheroes and anything that has to do with them. This is how I know he will love these Mod Squad cars. I think these cars are even more fun because the more of them your child has the more they can mix and match the different parts of the cars. There could be so many possibilities!
Ryan’s World Smashin’ Surprise Safes
This is the toy I am the most excited about this year. My son has been asking for “Ryan toys” since last year. Santa didn’t get any last year but this year he came through. If you don’t know, Ryan is a Youtube sensation. My son loves watching his videos and I know he will love to play with these fun toys on Christmas morning!
Sleepy Lights Robot
I don’t know about your child but my preschooler still prefers some light in their room at night. when I came across this robot night light I knew it would be great for him. This way instead of his room light getting left on, and myself of my husband having to remember to switch it off every night. He can now have a fun new light to help him feel safe at night.
Which of these toys do you think would be great for preschoolers? Are you getting any of them for your child? Let me know in the comments!
