After a fun filled summer, I am always anxious to get back to a schedule and get organized. Avery has some really awesome products that really helped me get my church music organized. No matter if you are looking for office supplies, back to school supplies or just supplies to get ORGANIZED Shoplet.com has a ton to offer! When Shoplet.com offered me a chance to review these handy Avery products, I jumped at the opportunity! I am the volunteer children’s music leader at my church and next month we have a big program where the children get to sing all of the songs I taught them this year. They learned 8 songs, each with 2 or 3 verses, and they learned a song in Spanish and one in Romanized Japanese. It is a lot of songs, so each month as I was teaching them I made “visual aids”. Each Sunday we review the songs using these visuals, but I never can find the right one, since there are so many. Last Saturday night I used my Avery products to get organized!
My church bag was stuffed and VERY unorganized. I had a ton of loose papers, a couple file folders, some construction paper and my bible. When it comes time to find the right song that we are reviewing, I had to dig and dig to find the right one. It was not very effective.
The Avery Flexi-View Round Ring Presentation View Binder (AVE17686) was just perfect for what I needed to get organized. The front cover is clear so you can either see through the front of it OR slip a decorative cover into the front. It has 3 rings and was perfect for the sheet protectors I had picked up. I was ready to get started!
I gathered the “visual aids” and slipped them into sheet protectors. In the picture below you can just see the words that I taught my kids in Spanish, since the children are ages 3-11, I wrote the words out just as they sound.
I also used the Avery Ready Index Contemporary Table of Contents Divider (AVE11133). These table of contents/dividers had 8 in the set, so it was perfect for my organizing all 8 of the songs I taught the children!
The Ready Index tabs were really easy to use. Since I taught one song a month, I knew the song I taught in January would be #1, February #2, etc. It made it really easy to organize. The different colored tabs on the side also made it really nice and convenient to find each song. What is great about these dividers is they are stronger (by 3 ways) than your average index dividers. They have stronger and heavier paper, stronger numbered tabs, and reinforced ring holes (on both sides)! It is clear that Avery wants these to last a long time for you!
I loved the ease of using the ready index tabs, but once I put the sheet protectors in, I was no longer able to see the tabs, I wish they would make the divider tabs bigger than a sheet protector. To the left you can see I “rolled” the sheet protectors so I could see the tabs. To the right you can see just the sheet protectors and not tab #2.
Once I had all 8 of my songs in place I felt more organized already! In the back of the binder there was a nice pocket to hold miscellaneous papers for me. I also noticed there was even a spot on the back pocket for a business card, which would add a nice touch if you were using this as a presentation binder! I did wish that the side spine had a clear pocket so I could slide a “title” in the side spine. Next year I will be teaching them 8 different songs, but will save this binder for fun days when we sing old favorite songs! Having it labeled on the side would be really nice for storage purposes or if someone else takes over the music leader position.
After filling 65 sheet protectors and indexing them my visual aids were completely organized! Wohoo!
My church bag looked BETTER THAN EVER!
I am happy to say that the next day, Sunday, my singing time went so much smoother as I was quickly able to get to any song we needed! Another really cool Avery product that I recently tried is the Avery Round Easy Peel Labels (AVE22807). These are easy to peel circle labels that could be used in a business, for canning, labeling, or in my case…..to make “Super Singer” stickers!
What I absolutely LOVE about Avery products is their user friendliness! If you look on the package you can clearly see that these labels work with Laser printers and Ink Jet printers. You can also easily see the “product number” at the top right corner. You can go to Avery.com/print, type in your “product number” and a ton of awesome templates/designs will pop up! SO cool! After going through them, I found a cute brown and blue striped one that I loved! Editing the template online requires no software downloads and it is so simple! There are several font, size, and color choices to choose from so you can customize any sticker to fit your needs!
As I mentioned the online template is really easy to use, but what is even better is you can print RIGHT from the online editor. There are 12 stickers/labels per page, but with their handy printing options you can choose to print any number you’d like, I can print 1, or 7 or all 12!
They are really easy to peel off. These are great for making homemade stickers-can you imagine the fun your kids would have creating their own stickers? Next day off of school my 5 year old and I are going to do it! Or if you own a business you could really get your name out there by applying these to products. These would also be really great for helping your child campaign for student body president….can’t you see “Vote for Sally” on one of these cute labels?
I also got to review these Avery Blank Printer-Compatible Tags with Strings (AVE22802)….talk about customization and CUTE! They work with ink jet printers, are easy to print, assemble, and like ALL Avery products they have a 100% Money back guarantee and online assistance! I didn’t have a need to print any tags at this time, so I didn’t actually print one of these off, I didn’t want to waste them on something I was going to use. However, I am looking forward to using these for the craft shows I attend with the items I sew. The customized tags will add an extra touch!
Another REALLY cool Avery product that would be helpful ANY business are these Avery Tri-Fold Brochure with Tear-Away Cards (AVE16152). It is a 3 fold brochure, 2 “folds” is a regular information brochure, then the 3rd “fold” are tear away cards! They could be business cards, or discount cards, or “Join my Team” cards. These look very classy and can give off a great impression for your business. I envision home based businesses (like Scentsy, It Works!, Do Terra, and others) using these and putting them up on classified boards or on boards at the grocery store. There are so many “tear away” or “take a number” flyers…..this would totally set you apart from the normal crowd! This product is for laser printers, which I don’t have one of those, so I didn’t get a chance to actually print on these, but like the other Avery products there are templates online to create anything you desire!
I found all of these awesome Avery products on Shoplet.com, they offer 400,000 discounted office supplies! You can get even deeper discounts if you buy bulk! They also have a site that features Promotional Products! You can get all the things you need to get organized or ready for back to school at Shoplet.com. You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!
What do you need to get organized? Would these Avery products from Shoplet.com be helpful to you? Leave me a comment below, I want to know!
