Diamond Candles Review

I love scented candles.  They provide a wonderful scent and just give a feeling of warmth around the house.  I have a collection of different scents for various times of the year.  Pumpkin pie for the fall, evergreen for the holidays and winter time, lavender for the spring and summer and cookie dough for just about anytime.  I am always on the hunt for natural candles that provide a soothing yet not overpowering scent.

            Recently I was contacted by a company called DiamondCandles© to review their products.  They produce earth friendly all natural soy scented soy candles.  And they make them right here in the USA!  Aside from the great look and scents of their candles they offer an added SURPRISE.  Within each candle they sell is a ring wrapped in a special foil pouch.  The ring is worth $10, $100, $1000, or $5000 dollars!!!  All you have to do is use the candle until it burns down to the ring and you’ve got your surprise.  This is like the surprise in Cracker Jack boxes but much better.

            After receiving my candle I was really happy with the way it looked.  The candle was large and had a nice wick. The scent that I received is Honeysuckle. It also smelled really good and filled my home with a calming aroma.  I could see the ring embedded in the wax about a quarter of the way down from the top.  I figured it would take a couple of days give or take to burn it down to that level. Then I could retrieve my surprise.  Well I forgot to take into account my husbands curiosity.  He must have been impatient or something because he got the ring out a day early.  I guess some people just can’t wait.

            After unwrapping the ring from the foil paper I was left with a cute ring.  I am not sure what its value is yet but it doesn’t really matter since it was an unexpected gift. I look forward to purchasing a candle from Diamond Candles© in the future. Next time though I will try to keep my husband away.
