I wanted to open up this blog with a little scenario that may be familiar to some of my readers. Picture this you are out in your car running daily errands, trying to get everything done before the kids come home from school. First stop dropping a prescription of at the pharmacy, followed by a stop at the cleaners to drop off and pick up some dry cleaning. Then you’re off to your local clothes store to pick up some things for yourself and the kids need new socks. You then remember that one of your kids has a birthday party on the weekend so you head to the toy store to get a gift. After that you head back to the pharmacy to pick up your prescription and then your off to the supermarket to get some things for dinner.
If any of this sounds familiar then you have lived a day in my shoes and vice versa. Don’t get me wrong these kind of days are not happening to me everyday, but when they do I feel like I have ran a marathon by the end of the day. What if I said there was a way to get most of these chores accomplished at one location and in half of the time? You would probably wonder what’s my secret or think come on that’s not possible. Okay I will end the suspense. The answer to getting all of the above things accomplished and more (except the dry cleaning) is by going to your local Target. Say what? Yes I said it Target is your one stop source for all of your shopping needs including a pharmacy. I bet many of you didn’t even know they had a pharmacy at Target.
For me I have been shopping at my local Target for several years always knowing there was a pharmacy there but never taking advantage of their services. Did you know that Target Pharmacy offers $4 dollar generics? That means some serious savings. They also have a pretty awesome pharmacy rewards program. There are no points to track and after only 5 filled prescriptions (vaccines count) you will enjoy 5% off your whole day of shopping at Target. That’s a win-win proposition especially if you need to do some shopping at Target anyway. It’s pretty simple when you get to Target drop of your scripts at their pharmacy and start shopping. They will text you when your medicine is ready to pick up. Now that is customer service. Wait if your not sold on the idea yet there is more.
Target pharmacies also stock many pet RX products. So you can also drop off any prescriptions that you got from the vet for your furry little loved one. That is sure to save some cash, since most vet offices charge a premium for pet meds. If all of this hasn’t made you think about using Target for your pharmacy needs maybe this will. They make it really easy to transfer over your current prescriptions that you fill at another pharmacy. With a very user friendly on-line service your can simply transfer your scripts over to Target and begin experiencing amazing discounts and customer service.
Are you a Target shopper? What experience do you look for most when it comes to Pharmacy?
