Nursing your child is a healthy way to start of their first year of life. I remember wanting to give up nursing my daughter because she just couldn’t latch on right. I am so glad I chose to continue nursing her. Nursing a baby is healthy, vital, and totally appropriate for mothers.
Some of us are pros, some of us struggle for a time.
Some of us need nursing pillows, some don’t.
I myself NEED a nursing pillow. It makes life about 100 times easier for me.
Either way you have to have to do what’s best for you and your baby.
That is why I am so glad to have come in contact with San Diego Bebe! The have one of the most wonderful nursing pillows I have ever seen!
It’s an Eco Nursing Pillow that is safe for your baby!
San Diego Bebe Eco-Nursing Pillows are made with Eco*Loft™ Fiber (NOT foam) and are:
- FREE of fire-retardant chemicals
- Hypo-allergenic & non-toxic
- Eco-friendly & recyclable
- Odor-free, glue-free, foam-free, lead-free & Phthalate-free
- Available in two sizes: for a single baby and for twins
I didn’t know that nursing pillows were made from materials that weren’t safe for your baby until I got the nursing pillow from San Diego Bebe.
This nursing pillow is all green. If you are into the eco friendly items then this is your pillow!
This nursing pillow has many features. My favorite feature is privacy nursing cover, it is a built-in, detachable nursing cover-up made of lightweight mesh that allows airflow & discretion.
The privacy cover is great and is hidden all along the side of the pillow. It is always with you everywhere you take the pillow which is awesome. If you look in the above picture it shows how to work it.
The cover is mad of mesh so it’s really breathable for the baby. It also detaches and is machine washable.
The only concern I have about the privacy cover is that it doesn’t totally cover you from the sides.
You are covered from the front just fine, but if someone was to walk by, they’d be able to see you nursing your baby.
As wonderful as the privacy cover idea is, I would suggest to make it a little bit more longer so it’s more private.
I was able to put a blanket over the cover and it covered the sides very well. It is nice that the cover is there still. Once I put the blanket over the cover I would be able to nurse very easily and hands free.
The pillow has an angled surface. The angle surface positions baby towards the mother, encouraging proper positioning, latch, suckle & swallow. It is also flat instead of round like most nursing pillows. I love that is is flat because it makes it easier to feed the baby.
The pillow has a border along the edge of the pillow. I love the idea of a border because babies won’t be able to roll away from you right after you feed them. I put my toddler on the nursing pillow just to show the border of the pillow.
This nursing pillow also has a detachable back pillow that you can place anywhere along your spine for optimum posture and comfort.
The Nursing Pillow has an adjustable fit with a waist strap with a quiet buckle that fits up to 52″ waist. The reason the waist strap is attached is so the nursing pillow can be securely fastened when you nurse your baby. I honestly would of never thought of that for a nursing pillow. I love the idea of the because my nursing pillow was always getting pushed off of my lap when I would switch sides.
I love this nursing pillow. I am so excited to use it with my little guy. (Who makes his arrival in less than 10 days!) It’s a great product and I think it’s a great nursing pillow for Mom’s.
(I Mackenzie have received the Nursing Pillow for free from San Diego Bebe in exchange for an honest written review for their products, all opinions and writings are mine.)

I like that it’s a different shale, and that I wouldn’t have to always worry about covering up with something else

I love that it is flat and angled. I tried 2 different pillows with my daughter and didn’t really like either of them. They both got donated when she was done nursing because I knew I wouldn’t want to use them with baby #2. The shape of this pillow makes me think that it will be perfect for keeping both me and baby comfortable during the many many hours of nursing ahead of us:)

What a great idea!!! I hated fumbling around for the nursing pillow then trying to remember where the heck I left my cover. I basically stayed around home unless it was a quick trip out, for the first year of my daughter’s life just so I didn’t have to cover up. I am not brave enough to nurse in public so a cover is a must for me. I will definitely let any expectant friends know about this great invention!
