New Spring 2014 Hasbro Toys

Shapes N Colors and Steam Boat Elmo

It seems like my daughter is constantly out growing everything, her clothes, diapers and now her toys. Because of this I was excited to get two new Hasbro toys for her this past week. They are the Shapes ‘N Colors Turtle for ages 6 months and up and the Elmo Bath Adventure Steamboat for ages 18 months to 4 years. Right away my daughter loved the steamboat, she couldn’t stop playing with it and it was still in the box. The things I like about the Steamboat are that it is a toy that will grow with my daughter. This toy is also great because it comes apart and becomes 5 separate toys (Shown in the bottom left picture below).

The things I liked about the Turtle was that it was very bright and has lots of fun noises that my daughter loves. Although I liked the Turtle I don’t think it is a toy that my daughter prefers over her other ones. In the middle there is a button that is what you push to choose which mode you want (shapes, colors, music or “follow me”) and the colored panels around it are what triggers the noises and lights but they are not buttons so it is a bit confusing for my daughter since she wants to push them in but all you have to do is touch it, which for me does not always work on the first try.

Steam Boat and Shapes N Colors collage Medium

Both of these Hasbro toys will be available Spring 2014 and both have a retail price of $14.99. They will be available at most toy retailers nationwide as long as on the Hasbro website.

*I received samples of the products mentioned above for free to facilitate this post. All opinions are mine.

Super cute toys. Hasbro is one of my top choices in brands for baby and family entertainment. I have never been disappointed with the quality or price of the products.
