Bears for Humanity – Certified Organic Teddy Bear that gives back

Typically, when you purchase an item online, you are asked for your name, credit card and maybe an option to join the mailing list. When you purchase a teddy bear from Bears For Humanity™, you have the delightful task of choosing a charity – because your purchase instantly doubles as a gift for a child in need!

More than that, the cuddly pal is personally delivered to a needy veteran’s house, a children’s hospital or an underprivileged household. It’s a win-win way to run a company! The stuffed bears come in two sizes – 16” Premium Bear ($39.99) and 7” Baby Bear (19.99). The many charity options and five color choices are splashed across www.BearsForHumanity.com website. You can also purchase these organic bears on Amazon and receive a free 2 day shipping with Amazon Prime account. At this time, Amazon’s software doesn’t allow for the purchaser to specify which charity, but rest assured, Amazon ships bear the same as you selected to a charity.

Toy industry experts, the California welfare-to-work program known as CalWORKs and an armful of mom bloggers heartily shout, “Yes!” The benefits only begin with the buy one-donate one model. The bears are very soft! Bears For Humanity pals are the only 100% Certified Organic Cotton/ Hemp teddy bears in the world. Plus, they are naturally antibacterial and hypoallergenic which gives parents the peace of mind they don’t get from polyester plush toys!

Fur is made of 55% Certified organic hemp / 45% Certified organic cotton. Fill is made of recycled polyester. Some shedding of organic fiber is expected and harmless.

The first time I saw these bears at the New York Toy Fair, they really caught my eye. I spoke with the owner and creator, Vijay, he told me about their mission. See the short video here. I have felt every single of their bears. They are all very soft, cuddly and super cute in addition to being organic. And what the company is doing is priceless. What a great way to spread love and cheer!

The bears are made in the USA, giving jobs to those who need one through CalWORKs in Northern California

I think this is the way ALL teddy bears should be made and bought for our future (out children). The fact that it gives back to the community with a purchase is an even bigger reason why only these should be made and sold! Thank you for this opportunity to learn about these adorable bears and the chance to spread the word to win one for my lil girl! Thank you!
