Make traveling fun for your child and keep them entertained with the Snack and Play from Star Kids

I am not sure about most kids, but it is nearly impossible to keep my 2 year old entertained in the car. We have tried many things such as coloring, reading books, giving her drinks and snacks. Those things kept her entertained for a minute until she dropped a crayon, or coloring book, snack, toy, or sippy cup. She is always complaining about something.

I figured it was time to find her something that would be easy for not to lose all her special things she brings into the car.

I found the Snack and Play from Star Kids  and thought I’d give it a try. Heck, I’d try anything to stop my 2 year old from complaining.

The Snack and Play is perfect for the car seat. We buckled my daughter in her car seat then we strapped the Snack and Play around my daughter. The strap is adjustable and fits around most children while strapped in the car seat or seat belt.

It has a round inner part of the tray making it a perfect fit for children. (The part that doesn’t have a aside to it.

The tray is made out of thick foam that is soft, but yet it’s sturdy enough to color on a single sheet of paper if desired.

My most favorite part of the tray is the 2 inch rim around the tray making it so things don’t fall off of it. This is the part that made me want the product. No more crying 2 year old for me anymore thanks to the side rims! My 2 year old is completely entertained!

The normal sized coloring book fills up the entire platform of the foam tray. Which is perfect for in the car because the coloring book will not move while the child is coloring.

As you can see it has multiple, small mesh pockets on the sides of the tray. These pockets are great for sippy cups, small toys, crayons, snacks, etc. This is also a great thing for my daughter.

Notice how the strap buckle is not around the car seat, but around her waist while she sits in the car seat.

snack-play-sideThere are 2 pockets on each side. A smaller one and a larger one.

snack-play appleThe tray is made out of a nylon material. This is a great choice material wise because it is easy to clean. Simply wipe the tray with a damp cloth or wipe and it’s clean.

snack-play-smileAll in all, the Snack and Play Tray is a great piece of work, and a great price! It is just $19.95 for it and it truly does keep children entertained.  At least my 2 year old. I am glad we got it and I can’t wait to take it on our 12 hour road trip to Montana this Christmas. It’ll be a real life saver I am sure of it!

I like that the tray buckles around the child and not to the car seat. I had one for my son that buckled to the seat which was great until he switched to a booster. Now it is useless. Also the mesh pockets would be great as well. Really I think the whole thing would be great!
