We live in a small New York City town house. So there is always an issue of where to hide the Christmas presents from our two kids. One year we had hid them under our bed. Our son who was 6 at the time found them and showed them to our daughter who was 3. Luckily this didn’t ruin Christmas for her, since she is a firm believer in Santa. Last year we had the idea of storing the presents in a spare refrigerator that we don’t use. It is located in the basement and there is no reason for our kids to open it. This is what it looks like inside. Chock full of presents. My husband got a little paranoid when the kids were hanging out by it. They said they were hiding to scare him. But he was pretty suspicious. I think next year we will add a lock and motion sensor to the refrigerator. After that we may have to keep the presents with a neighbor or rent a small storage place for the 2 months before Christmas.
