Attention yogurt lovers, there is something new you need to hear about- Noosa Yoghurt-it’s the yoghurt style of the Aussie’s and made right here in the USA! It’s creamy and thick like Greek yogurt but without the bitter aftertaste. It’s full of good ingredients and delicious! I received 7 of the 13 available flavors for my family to try out.

Noosa Yoghurt flavorsWe received the samples via the mail and my kids couldn’t wait to get their hands on them, literally, see those little 4 year old hands begging to get into the box…

Noosa Yoghurt shippedNoosa Yoghurt comes packaged in clear containers so you can see the goodness that you are about to eat! The first one I wanted to try was pumpkin. Mostly because it was such a unique flavor. I could see the pumpkin puree on the bottom side of the container.

A quick swirl of my spoon and I had the puree and the yoghurt combined. It was thicker than regular yogurt and smelled sweet. The pumpkin yoghurt tasted more like pumpkin cheesecake than yogurt. It was smooth, creamy, had the consistency of Greek yogurt, but it was sweet. It was delicious!

Noosa Yoghurt consistencyMy kids and I are huge pumpkin fans, so we devoured this 4 ounce container in no time.P1240209The next one my 7 year old wanted to try was the blueberry yoghurt. It had real pieces of blueberry and there were no added colors or dyes! It was delicious too!

Noosa Yoghurt blueberryWe often make strawberry rhubarb pie at our house, so when there was a yoghurt with this flavor, we couldn’t wait to try it. It too was creamy, tasted more like cheesecake, and had just the right amount of tart and sweetness!

Noosa Yoghurt strawberry rhubarb yoghurtThe Noosa Yoghurts come in 4 ounce-4 packs, which are great for lunches, or in 8 ounce or 16 ounce containers. We packed some in the kids’ lunches on the first day of school along with some homemade wheat bread, yellow peppers, and grapes! It was a nice addition to their lunches!

Noosa Yoghurt in the lunchboxI enjoyed the tart cherry and cranberry apple yoghurts too. I took 4 ounces of the Noosa Cran-Apple Yoghurt and put it in a dish. Then I dished out 4 ounces of regular name brand yogurt that we had in our fridge. Can you guess which one is the Noosa? Hint, it’s the one that is full of real fruit pieces and has no artificial colors!

Noosa Yoghurt compared to regular yogurtThe Noosa is the one on the left. You can see the cranberries in it! The Aussie Noosa yoghurt had just the perfect amount of sweetness to it. When I ate the regular yogurt afterwards, it was too sweet! I checked and compared the ingredients and amount of sugar. The “regular” yogurt’s 2nd ingredient was sugar!other yogurt ingredients

The Noosa yoghurt’s 2nd ingredient was fruit puree!

Noosa Yoghurt ingredientsI honestly can’t tell you how the lemon or the vanilla were because once my husband discovered them in the fridge, it was game over for those two kinds! 😉 I’ve never seen him eat yogurt like he has been eating the Aussie yoghurt! Instead of looking for something sweet before bed, he grabs a yoghurt. With the unique flavors it makes it feel like a treat! When I asked him what he thought about the yoghurt, he said, “If I say that I can’t make up my mind, will they send us some more?!” After a laugh, he said, he really enjoyed them, they were creamy, not bitter, and had great flavor. He felt good about eating them. As an added bonus, they are gluten free! I really want to try the mango and coconut flavors! YUM!

Noosa Yoghurt aboutYou can purchase Noosa Yoghurt pretty much anywhere you can buy yogurt. On the Noosa website, they have a “Find Noosa” option where you can type in your zip code and see the stores near you that sell them. If you visit their website you can print a coupon! Which Noosa Yoghurt flavor would you like to try first? Leave me a comment below letting me know.
