I have yet to meet a little boy who doesn’t LOVE cars and trucks. Ya wanna know what makes trucks even cooler?
TWO WORDS.
Lightning Wheels.
That’s right, lightning wheels. Wheels that light up when you push it. John Deere recently came out with these great Monster Treads truck and tractor. My son is literally in car and truck heaven with these babies. Heck, even my husband is!
They come in two different models. The Gator and the tractor.
The Gator is more like an ATV model and the tractor is just a normal tractor. The wheels light up when you push them. They are fairly large trucks to me. These are the biggest trucks we have in our house now. The trucks are perfect for little boys ages 3 & up, but my 1.5 year old son loves them just as much as any 3 year old would.
One cool thing I noticed about the truck is how fast and far they go. This thing can roll pretty far from where you stand. It also rides really smooth. I am pretty sure this is what made my husband like these!
Because my son is only 1 he isn’t too adventurous in playing as yet. I have a 3 year old daughter but she doesn’t love trucks quite as much as he does. The wheels on the trucks are large so these would be pretty sweet to play with in a sandbox or on a hill. They could really ride over any kind of incline.
Lastly, we will talk about the lightning wheels. The wheels light up a real bright green. They look great in the dark. I wasn’t able to get a picture of the wheels completely lit up, but they light up real good.
Monster Treads Lightning Wheels Tractor and Gator are the perfect trucks for a little boy. I actually had a little 4 year old boy see the Gator and his eyes lit up when he saw it and said, “WOW!! That is the coolest truck EVER!” So from a 4 year old boy’s review, they’re the coolest trucks ever. John Deere definitely did a good job on this one!
