15 Great Kids Christmas Movies on Netflix Holidays 2014 + 1-YEAR Giveaway!

12/11/2014 By Dave 94 Comments

Share

‘Twas the night before… oh wait it’s not Christmas time yet.  Although that is some wishful thinking on my part.  I have to say this is one of my favorite times of the year.  The leaves are gone off the trees, the cold air is brisk and fresh, and the gray skies occasionally show snow.  Then you walk down the street and you see houses decorated with lights, snowmen, angels, and reindeer.  All of this just puts me into the holiday spirit of things.  When I’m feeling like I just want to curl up on the couch with my family, sip some hot cocoa and watch a holiday movie on Netflix.

Kid Freiendly Christmas movies on Netflix

When I cruise through the title on Netflix I begin to realize how many Holiday movies are out there that I haven’t seen.  And then there are all of the classics that I want to share with my kids.  I decided to compile a list of some of my favorite fun Holiday movies that are currently streaming on Netflix.  Here they are in no particular order:

  1. The Muppets Christmas Carol
  2. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas
  3. The Legend of Frosty the Snowman
  4. All I want for Christmas
  5. The Nightmare Before Christmas
  6. Switchmas
  7. DreamWorks Holiday Classics
  8. Saving Santa
  9. Santa Paws
  10. Christmas Angel
  11. 12 Dogs of Christmas
  12. Snowglobe
  13. I’ll be home for Christmas
  14. Christmas Town
  15. One Magic Christmas

All of the titles I mentioned are kid and family friendly.  Watch these movies before the end of December.

And on December 19th Get ready to dance – the first five episodes of All Hail King Julien, a totally original, totally hilarious and totally insane new series, will arrive on Netflix. A favorite character from the Madagascar franchise, King Julien will take on the jungle’s craziest adventures in the new comedy series, along with his loyal sidekicks Maurice and Mort plus a whole new cast of colorful animals.
