Quick and Easy After School Popsicles

Are you looking for a fun after school activity to do with your children?  I have two great popsicle recipes that are kid approved!  They are quick and easy to make.  Plus, they would be a great for an after dinner snack or an incentive to finish homework.

Skittle Popsicles

You will need:

Skittle Popsicle Ingredients

  • A popsicle mold
  • A lemon-lime soda
  • Skittles

First you place a few skittles at the bottom of your popsicle mold.

Next you fill the mold with your lemon-lime soda.

Firmly place the handle into the bottom of the mold.

Pudding Popsicles

You will need:

 Pudding ingredients

  • A popsicle mold
  • A 3.9 oz packet of instant pudding
  • Milk
  • A mixing bowl
  • A large spoon or whisk
  • Small spoon

Empty the pudding packet into your bowl.

Pudding bowl

Add the recommended amount of milk from the pudding box.

Stir or whisk the pudding for two minutes.

After trial and error, we found that a soup spoon was the best utensil for filling the popsicles molds.

Firmly place the handle into the bottom of the mold.

Finally, put your molds into the freezer for approximately 2-4 hours.  We found that the popsicles were easier to remove from the molds after being run under warm water.  The Skittles popsicles were the favorite in our home.  Which ones did your family enjoy?
