“I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Banana Boat® Sun Care. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating. Regardless, all opinions and stories are mine”

Yesterday and today were probably the first hot days that we had to deal with so far in New York.  Now it wasn’t very humid so the 87 degree temperatures did not feel that bad.  My daughter and husband were outside planting some flowers in our garden when I realized that neither of them was wearing any sun protection.  When I came outside with a can of Banana Boat sunscreen my husband was like, “We don’t need any, the sun is not that strong”. I just gave him a look and he realized right away that they both needed to put some protection on.

For the both of them I used Banana Boat® Kids Free Clear UltraMist® Sunscreen.  They state that it is alcohol free, tear-free and sting-free.  It also comes with 50+ SPF protections from the suns harmful UVA and UVB rays.  What I like about it the most is the fact that it goes on clear and that it is pediatrician tested.

Banana Boat also makes several other types of sunscreen that are just as good as this one.  There is a variety of sport sunscreens that go on clear as well that have power stay technology that helps keep the sunscreen on your body for longer times.  There is also there cool zone brand of sunscreens that instantly refreshes your skin on contact.  There are also other varieties that contain skin moisturizers as well as products that will help you deal with sunburn for those times you forgot to put on the sunscreen.  You can check out all of their products by going here and clicking on there links.

Just remember when the sun is out and your outside doing yard work, hanging out at the beach, water park or adventure park, watching a sporting event or whatever else you do, make sure you have protection from the suns harmful rays.  You will be thanking yourself afterwards for sure.
