Have you heard of the Peek Away Travel Nursing Kit?? If you haven’t, no need to worry I will explain this lovely 4-in-1 kit that will make you want to have another baby! It really is a great product.
-Travel nursing pillow
The Peek Away is able to be a hand bag. It can be a hand bag by simply attaching the straps onto the bag, and you have a fancy portable hand bag that, but what people don’t know is that you have a nursing pillow, changing pad, and a nursing cover in the bag!
It’s the perfect size, light weight, and also has little pockets for small things such as: your phone, a few toys, etc.
Below is a picture of the 2 available pockets. I put my phone in to see if it fit and it did. If I was going out I would put a binkie in the pocket, as well as a toy.
The nursing pillow is my favorite part of this bag! I can’t tell you how many times when I was out and about and the baby was hungry so I would have to stop and feed her. But I was still very new to nursing, and she was too. I always wished I had my boppy pillow with me just to give her support for her head since she was still very tiny. Of course I made due using blankets and jackets but if I had this it would of been so handy! I can’t wait to use this with my little guy.
To use the nursing pillow all you have to do it unstrap one strap on the side, put it around your back, and clip it back in. I like this because the pillow stays in place and it’s not moving all around and it ensures that the baby can be safe while on the pillow.
I was able to have my pregnant belly and still have it fit around me. The strap is adjustable making it easy for all different sizes of women to use this for nursing.
The nursing pillow is soft and comfortable and the baby will have a little more head support. (And you don’t have to hold them, which is a plus for me! I love hands free nursing. 🙂
The Peek Away changing pad part is perfect and makes sure that there is a clean place for the baby to lay on. There would be no handbag if the changing pad wasn’t involved in this. (It could be a hand bag but it would be a very flimsy one.)
To use the changing pad all you have to do is take out the whole part of the bag and it will flip out the the above pictures.
It comes with a built in, removable wipes case and a spot to put the diapers and even diaper ointment cream if needed.
The material on the the changing pad almost feels like a waterproof material. It can be easily cleaned by using a wipe or cloth.
To put the bag away, you will need to fold it. I have tried to show in pictures of how to fold it.
The material of the nursing cover seems waterproof as well. I have never seen a cover with this type of material, but I love it!
My husband called it milk proof. 🙂
As funny as it seems, it really seems that way and you won’t to have milk stains on the nursing cover. It makes it a bit more appealing when you don’t have milk stains on your nursing cover. 😉
This is the Peek Away in a nut shell and if you can’t tell, it’s totally awesome! I am loving my new bag and can’t wait to use it with my son. It’s perfect for little trips to Grandma’s house even.
You can purchase the Peek Away Bag directly form their website for $46.98. They currently have 4 different designs to choose from. I would recommend this product to any Mom.
