Say hello to my happy little friend-the Baby Bullet! It’s a wonderful site to see, don’t ya think?
When my daughter was a baby I was beyond determined to make her own baby food from fresh fruits and vegetables. I only make the food 2 times and gave up because it was just too hard and time consuming. I know, it’s a pretty lame excuse.
A few weeks ago I was contacted and asked if I wanted to try the Baby Bullet out. I knew I have always wanted to try it but I never knew how wonderful it was.
And how it is so EASY it is to make the baby food!
In the picture below is a GREAT diagram of what comes with the Baby Bullet and the use it has. I could of posted a bunch of pictures to show you, but this is clear and very understandable-enjoy it! 🙂
The Baby Bullet has so many great features. My most favorite thing about the Baby Bullet is the date dials on every food storage container. It has the numbers 1-31. The reason is so you can know when you made the baby food that month. Which is great so you don’t have to write on the adorably cute smiling storage cups. That smiling face is cute, right?
I also loved that it came with a baby food cook book. It’s not only a cook book. It also tells you how to:
-Prepare the food
-Store the food
-Serve the food
-Use the Baby Bullet
-How to clean the Baby Bullet
It also has food charts for what the baby should be eating at their certain age. Such as:
-4-6 months
-7 months
-8 months
-1 year
It’s going to be my most favorite cook book ever once I have my little boy in April. (Even though he won’t start eating until 5 months later, but still, I’ll start looking at it more when he’s born.)
The Test:
So, you may ask does the Baby Bullet actually work like it says it does. The answer is YES YES YES x10. It really works, in case you didn’t get the memo before.
I have never been so amazed at a product before. I figured that it would work but it would work just like my blender.
WRONG. WRONG. WRONG.
I was very wrong! With a regular blender it makes the baby food grainy. There seems that there is no possible way to get the grainy-ness out of the baby food.
The Baby Bullet food came out extremely smooth and not grainy one bit. Once I saw this I knew this product was the real deal!
Above is a picture of some pears I made. Pears were one thing that was always extremely grainy when I made them. Here they are from my Baby Bullet smooth as smooth can be. I even tried them and they tasted just as smooth as the baby food jars you buy at the store.
I followed the direction on the cook book to make the baby food. The recipe says to add 1/4 cup of water, but I think instead when I make the food for my boy I probably will add some formula or some of my milk instead of water into the recipe.
Make sure you always boil, steam, or cook the fruits and vegetables for your baby. (Except simple ones banana’s and avocados) like It is just more safe and makes making the food much easier.
Because I don’t have a baby right now I used my adorable nephew and made him some baby food. Below is a picture of him eating bananas I made.
It only took about 10-15 seconds in the baby bullet and it was the perfect and came out just perfect. I used 2 pears and it filled up a tray of 6 in the frozen silicone tray.
The next day when I checked on the baby food it was all great! The frozen silicone tray is perfect because it makes taking out the baby food so simple! I loved the fact that it was easy to take out especially since I made baby food before (without the baby bullet) I used ice cube trays. It wasn’t as easy to take out as the silicone ones that the baby bullet comes with. I am so happy that it’s easy now. It will make my life much easier.
See how EASY!? (Above picture) The bananas kinda browned a bit, but they were still good I think.
Once they were all frozen my sister put them in zip lock bags and kept them in her freezer. And she fed her son some more banana’s…I think he liked them, don’t you? 🙂
The Baby Bullet is simply amazing and I would recommend it to every Mom who wants to make their own baby food. I swear it will change your life. I now want to make baby food for my second baby after not wanting to ever to do it again after trying it with my daughter. But with the Baby Bullet I will give it another try and hopefully I will succeed!

I like the silicone tray to make it and freeze it
Mixing fruit and making fruit pops! Little ones love that
I have 5 kids and my youngest is 3 months old. I worry about the stuff that is the affordable baby food at the store and the cost of the “organic” stuff is through the roof-especially when you consider that babies don’t like everything you try to feed them and the idea of spending a good amount of money on food they might spit out (or worse they might be allergic to) really stinks. Having the ability to make my own baby food is perfect! That way I know exactly what is going in my baby’s food and its cost effective!! I would SOOO love to win one of these.
I like the manual and easy to figure out cookbook. Makes it very easy to know what your making.
