Gift Baskets from Gifts A GoGo is One Stop Shop for Great Gift Giving

I was wondering if any of my readers received any gift baskets for the holidays?  You know the kind of gift baskets that come wrapped in plastic and they contain various food items.

Such as chocolates, crackers, dips, assorted dried meats, smoked salmon, candy or nuts.  Usually every year we receive one of these baskets from a friend, relative or neighbor.  This year we got a small one from our neighbor that included some assorted chocolates, nuts and hand moisturizer.  It was a very nice gift and was decorated nicely.

    Sometimes it isn’t that difficult to make up your own basket for someone special.  But if that person lives in another state or country it would be a bit expensive to ship it to them and be able to get it there undamaged.  When it come to those types of gifts I prefer to use a company that specializes in gift baskets that way I know it will get done right.  Gifts A GoGo is one of those types of companies.  You can find them online at www.giftsagogo.com and they have all sorts of gift ideas.  Best thing is they don’t just sell gift baskets they also have a variety of other gifts that can be ordered.  For example they have a great section where you can find all types of Glass Art.

They also have a pottery shop with some really unique items.

The website says that both the glass art and the pottery are hand-made.  In addition to those hand-made items they also make jewelry.

    Now getting back to the gift baskets I’m sure you will be able to find one that fits all of your needs.  On the left side bar of their website they break up the baskets into categories like: Anniversary gifts, Care Packages, Kids Gifts,

Fruit Baskets, Chocolate, Wine Baskets, even Pet Gift Baskets and much much more.   As you check out the categories you will see they do a good job of having items specifically for the topic selected.  Of course there will always be some repeats since you may find a fruit basket in the Anniversary gift category.  Also as a reminder some states do not allow you to ship wine.  So make sure you check that out before placing an order.  The Gifts A Go Go site has a drop down menu that appears that will display the states they can ship certain wine products to.  Sometimes it depends on the wine and the state.

    Another group of categories that they have on their website is for holidays.  There’s Christmas, Easter, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day and more.  With Christmas already past the next holiday that I’m thinking of is Valentine’s Day.  Gifts A Go Go sure has a great selection of baskets and gifts that you could get for your loved one.  There is the Big Kiss Valentine’s Day basket that comes with candies, chocolates, a really cute white teddy bear and more.

Then there is the basket that I got to sample and that was the Spa and Chocolate Valentine’s Basket.

Those are two words I really like “Spa and chocolate”.  Well they don’t actually send you to the spa, which would be pretty difficult to do from a basket.  What they do is include some really nice English spa lotions and gels along with all of the other goodies.  I have to say it’s a really nice basket and we have already tasted the butter cookies, the Dolcetto waffers and the English tea cookies.

I decided to do a cookie tasting with my kids. Oh boy.. did the kids loved the tasting. I had them set up with plates and some milk and gave 1 o2 2 cookies from each box. They were all heavenly delicious, but the top pick was the Dolcetto Waffers. To keep it low on sugar I just give them 2 or 3 cookies every other day for dessert.

I also liked the fact that each box of cookies or chocolate comes in a good size, not too much and not too little. Is good enough to enjoy with family for few evenings if you keep the small size portions. Another great thing that items from the gift basket can be re-packaged into 2 or 3 pieces and be re-gifted as well 🙂 for example, I didn’t get to try the bath products from my gift basket but I know my mother in law will really enjoy this one so I’m going to re-gift it to her lol 🙂 I will package the lotion, gel and soap into a nice independent gift and voila, I have a small Valentine’s Day surprise for her!
