Cute Gift Idea – Poseable Large Hello Kitty Doll (Dancer)

I was in the toy store the other day with my daughter looking in the doll section and was amazed at how far dolls have come since I was a kid.  There are dolls in all shapes and sizes and dolls than can do a variety of different things.  There are dolls that talk, dolls that sing, dolls that dance, dolls that you dress up, and more.  There are the less expensive dolls and then dolls that will really break your budget if your not careful.  Speaking of expensive dolls I remember my Mother had this beautiful porcelain doll that she got from her Grandmother.  It would sit atop her bedroom dresser and we were not supposed to play with it.  One time she came home from work to find one of the fingers on the doll was broken off.  Of course I got the blame at first since I was always asking to play with her.  In the end my Mom found out it was actually my brother who had broken the dolls finger.  He claimed to be getting a brush from her room when he accidentally knocked it off the dresser.  Unlikely story I said.  He was probably throwing it up in the air like he did with all of my dolls and it fell.  Needless to say the doll was put away in storage after that.

Well enough about my childhood doll stories and me.  Guess Who’s arriving to the doll isle? Yesterday I got a great new doll for my daughter.  It is the new Dance Hello Kitty Doll from Blip Toys.

Hello Kitty Large Doll Dancer

This Hello Kitty Doll is about 13,5 inches tall and is fully pose able.  She comes with leg warmers that look like they are straight out of “Flash Dance” one of my favorite 80’s movies.  She also has the most adorable Beanie Hat, Tutu like skirt, hat, socks, and shirt.

They are all removable and I’m thinking toy makers will follow-up with other cool outfits for Dance Hello Kitty.  What I really like about the toy is the fact that the arms, legs, and head are all movable.  My daughter has other Hello Kitty dolls that are not so this will be a first for her.  By the way this is a Christmas gift for her so Dance Hello Kitty will be in hiding until then.

On another note I came across some websites that lead you to believe that this Hello Kitty actually dances to the sound of music.  Maybe there is one out there that does but you will not find it with this doll.  What’s great is that your daughter can pose her, and make her do her own dance moves.  She can also change her outfits around and I am sure some of the other doll clothes my daughter has will also fit Hello Kitty.  So if you are a big fan of Hello Kitty like we are then I suggest you get this one fast.  Currently available at Target for only $24.99  They are already selling on Ebay for double the store-selling price.  These dolls are made for Ages 4 and above and is made by Blip Toys. Watch below this Hello Kitty doll in action.

What do you think about Dancer Hello Kitty Doll?

Hi. I have this same doll. Have you found any doll clothes that fit her? I thought the toy company would have made some but I can’t find any for her.

HI Smalls, Although they say that Hello Kitty clothes are removable, I have not found any doll clothes or teddy bear clothes that fit her. Neither I have found that they sell accessories for this doll.

very quick question about the hello kitty doll, i got mine from a thrift store so she doesn’t have all the pieces but she has enough. anyways, mine has a little hole on the back of her left ear. you’re someone who bought the full doll so i was wondering if anything was there.
