Bright Light Pillows are a night light and cute bedroom decor!

Do you ever see a product and think, “I wonder if that is as cool as it looks?” I thought that when I ran into the Bright Light Pillow from Idea Village. Here is the commercial I saw–it looked pretty fun. It wasn’t until I had my hands on one that I realized this pillow is even cooler than the commercial made it look!

We were pretty excited to get our pillow in the mail. We had seen these at our local store and my kids have been asking for one for a while! The box had a little opening so a person could feel how SOFT this pillow is. It is incredibly soft and fluffy!

Once I took it out of the box it looked like a lovely white pillow, which would go with any room decor you currently have! It was evenly fluffy over the entire pillow–nothing worse than a lumpy pillow!

This pillow has an on and off feature on the battery holder. Although you can manually turn it off by switching this button, the Bright Light Pillow has an automatic shut off timer after 15 minutes! If you look very close in the photo below my thumb is right below the “on/off” switch.

The Bright Light pillow requires 3 AA batteries (not included). The battery holder is child proof as you must have a small screw driver to get the cover off of it. The battery holder also slides “into the pillow” and then zips for added safety. This pillow is recommended for age 8+.

All it takes to get the pillow glowing is a gentle squeeze. It is incredible to watch it change from color to color! So how does it work, you may wonder? Inside the pillow are LED lights (on one side of the pillow) that are guaranteed not to emit heat or burn and it says lasts for hundreds of hours! We haven’t used ours for that long yet, (obviously) but so far it has been great! Here is how our pillow changed colors:

These pictures were taken in daylight and were this vibrant, but at night they are even more incredible! This pillow is VERY cool–and comes in different shapes! You can purchase this Bright Light Pillow by Idea Village for $19.99 HERE. You can follow Idea Village on Facebook and Twitter for a heads up on the latest and greatest products! They now have a light up blanket similar to this pillow, it looks AWESOME–I am certain that we need at least 3 of them at my house (for the kiddos)–maybe four so I can use one too! Do you know someone that would LOVE to have this pillow too? This would make a great Holiday Gift!
