Eliminate the Stress and Mess of Pets with Little Live Pets Turtles

Pets are fun to have, but also can add a lot of stress and mess to a household.  In my household, about the time my children turned 5, the constant request for pets came daily.  Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective, there are high allergies to animals in our home, so having actual pets may never happen for us.

Little Live Pets turtlesMoose Toys has created a fun line of toys that mimic the real movements and actions of pets, such as mice, birds, and most recently turtles.

Moose Toys has provided me with Little Live Pets Turtle Tank and individual turtle toys to review so I could form an opinion and share it with you. Regardless of this agreement, I am not required to give a positive review. I will be honest and fair, be it good or bad.

My first impression of these toys was how fun and cute they looked.  My children were ecstatic to see them and couldn’t wait for them to be opened.  We opened up the Little Live Pets Turtle Tank first and added batteries to the turtle that came in the set.

Little Live Pets turtles are good in waterThe tank is light weight and easy to carry around. Its lid opens up and can be propped up by the carrying handle as a walking area for the turtle to use. It also acts as a diving board for the turtle to use to go into the tank when it is filled with water.

The Little Live Turtles are meant for playing on land and water.  The dual element of play really makes this toy fun, not only for regular imaginative play, but also for bath and pool time.

There is a propeller at the back of the turtle that helps the turtle move in the water with ease.  The legs of the turtle also help the turtle mimic real movements of a turtle when walking on land and swimming in water. It is quite fun to observe, and for my children it is also fun for them to play with.

We opened the other turtle and put in batteries, since they are not included, to allow group interactive play. Having more than one turtle really enhanced play time and made the Little Live Pets more enjoyable.

Little Live Pets are good outdoor toysTrying to keep tabs on two moving and active toys is a lot of work, and my children absolutely loved it.  They loved being responsible for keeping their eyes on their pets so that they didn’t get into any trouble or get hurt in anyway.

The Little Live Pet Turtle sets are super fun for children of all ages, but due to small parts, they are recommended for children ages 5 and up.

These toys would make any child happy, especially if they had an interest in sea life or turtles.
