elegant baby hooded towel and toy review

Nothing is sweeter than snuggling a freshly bathed baby.  I just love it. However, there are times when I grab the wrong towel, and that snuggle time becomes struggle time because my baby is uncomfortable due to the rough texture of the fabric.  Elegant Baby has taken the worry away and guarantees me that snuggle time using their luxurious hooded towel on my baby.

Having a sweet little princess who adores bath time, I knew I needed to get the Mousie Princess Bath Set for her. It’s just the cutest hooded towel and bath toy set combo I’ve seen. I could just envision my baby as she grew older running around after bath-time using her imagination to create a fun fairy tale adventure as she scurried around the house avoiding getting clothes on.

This was my baby’s first time playing with toys during her bath.  The Fairy Party Bath Squirtie set was perfect for her.  The plastic design is very soft and easy for her to hold, squish and chew on.  I would fill the toys up with water and it would spray at her body, causing her to laugh and kick with excitement.

The thing I liked about these squirtie toys was that the water was pretty easy to get nearly all out of the toy once we were done playing with them. The flexibility of the  toy is one of its best features. I also liked that there was diversity shown in the fairies.  There are six different squirties, and I liked all of them but the flower.  The flower was (and is) perfect for a chew toy, but it was very difficult to fill and squeeze water out of.  Although it is cute, it would be better for the set to have an additional fairy or star in place of the flower.

After bath-time was over, I quickly wrapped her up in the hooded towel and carried her into her room to dry and clothe her.  By the time I had gotten to her changing table, she was nearly dry, just from being held in the hooded towel.  It adsorbed the water on her so quick and so well, that I had didn’t have to fight her to dry her skin. Even getting the hard to dry areas, like her armpits and beautiful thunder-thighs, was a cinch.

Typically after I get her dried, she gets fussy because she gets cold, however this was not the case using this hooded towel. She didn’t even notice the wetness of the hooded towel and loved playing with the cute mouse tail that is attached at the bottom.  Once we were done, I simply took the hooded towel, using the awesome hanging loop on the hood, and hung it up for our next use. I am excited for her to grow using this hooded towel, because I can see how the quality of the fabric will allow for long lasting fun and functional use.

The only thing about the hooded towel that I would have liked to see different is the length of it.  This hooded towel is meant for babies up to 24 months, but I felt like it was a struggle to fully wrap my baby around in it, making it a little more challenging to get my after-bath snuggles in.  This wouldn’t stop me from buying it in the future, but it would be a nice change that the company could make.

Elegant Baby has multiple bath sets available for purchase, including a very cute dinosaur set for boys as well. The hooded towel has the same design elements as have been mentioned above and is made from great fabrics.  The tool party squirtie set is, quite possibly, the cutest bath toy I have seen for baby boys.  It features a hammer, drill, screwdriver, saw, measuring tape, and wrench.  I could see hours of play with these toys starting from a very young age.  It is certainly a must have item.

Overall, these bath sets from Elegant Baby are designed with great care and attention for even the littlest of bodies.  The designs are very cute, fun and functional.  They would make a great gift for any occasion, not only for you but for others also.

Disclosure: I received the items mentioned above so I could form an opinion to share with you. Regardless of this arrangement, I was not required to give a positive review. All opinions expressed above are my own honest thoughts. Thanks for reading!
