The Heli Beast is a walking, flying, remote controlled helicopter for kids!

My children have been begging for a remote controlled helicopter since they saw Grandpa’s at Christmas time. His was super complicated and the kid’s couldn’t work it very well so there was no way I was going to spend a ton of money on something they would likely break in a week. I was delighted when I found the Heli Beast by SilverLit made for kids! It not only flies, but it can jump, walk backwards, forwards, to the left and to the right!

P1230681

This find was perfect timing as the number one item on my daughter’s birthday wishlist was a remote controlled helicopter. At $39.99 it wasn’t going to break the bank and she had been asking for it for 9 long months!!!

P1230682

At first I was really surprised with how lightweight the Heli Beast was. Then it dawned on me that it has to be light in order to fly!

P1230684

The controller is nice sized for small hands and isn’t full of complicated controls. You can set it on one of two frequencies, move the toggle switch forwards, backwards, or side to side to make the Heli Beast walk. To make it fly you gently pull up on the throttle and steer as desired. With a push of a button the remote controlled helicopter can jump too! It has many fun features  in a simple and easy to learn remote!

P1230683

Perhaps my FAVORITE aspect of this toy is the the helicopter charges directly from the remote and some genius attached the charging cord to the remote so it won’t get lost! I love the person that did this. It is so hard to keep track of all the cords and attachments these days!

P1230688

They even built in a little cubby for the charging cord to stay safely in while it is not charging! There is also an indicator light letting you know if it turned on or if it is charging.

P1230687

This remote controlled helicopter is fun for the kids! It took a couple of days to get used to flying it but my 8 year old LOVES it (and I do too, it is fun!) It is lightweight but it sure holds up to a lot of crashes! My family would give it 2 thumbs up! You can read more details about the remote controlled helicopter on their website !

Would love this for my grandson. I babysit him and we have helicopters flying over a lot and he gets so excited to see them. His mom is a single parent so its hard to get some of the things he likes. This looks like the perfect one for a little boy. Thank you.

I would give this to my son. He, too, discovered the joy and fun of remote-controlled helicopters from Grandpa. It’s amazing to see their faces light up when it lifts off the ground!! That relationship between Grandpa/Grandson is a lot like that of a little girl playing with that special doll that used to be Grandma’s. I know because I’ve seen my little girl share that joy!
