If you are looking to create your own fun, adorable and actually do-able Halloween costumes then here are a few ideas to get you started in the right direction! How about this AWESOME mini van stick figure family costume. This cracks me up! I do drive a mini van and think it is fun when people have their stick figure family on the back window. Some people HATE the stick figure family stickers, either way, I think this is an easy, no-sew, clever idea!

How about this technologically advanced set of “phone app” costumes. Where do these creative people come up with these fun ideas? I found this fun idea here.

Taking a break from the family themed DIY Halloween Costumes, how about adorable ones for the babies? This cabbage patch doll box costume can be used right over your stroller….I LOVE this idea! I will have a 3 month old this Halloween and I am sure we will have her in the stroller as we take the other kids trick or treating!

Have a child a bit older-but still pretty little? Take a couple of white feather boas, some kitchen gloves, a white bonnet and viola you’ve got the cutest little chicken you ever did see! Martha Stewart describes how to make this costume here.

For any of you last minute costume makers (or the ones that forgot Halloween was on the 31st this year) here is a super fast and cheap costume that is awesome! A gift! How many birthday bags do you have laying around your house? I have a ton!

Who doesn’t love Legos? Well, I don’t like them on the stairs or in the dark, but I love the Halloween costume idea! Instructables walks you through on how to make this Lego man costume, just think, you could turn this into a whole group costume set with Lord Business, Emmit, the girl (whose name escapes me at the moment)….totally fun DIY Halloween costumes!

My kids would go nuts over this DIY costume of a bubble gum machine idea from Country Living!

Don’t have much money spend this year? How about a $1 costume? This girl is dressed as a paper doll! How fun! Do kids still know what paper dolls are?

I just love group costumes, so this M&M one was a must share. It would be easy enough to sew yourself or even hot glue! Well done family of M&M’s, well done!

Finally this “little” old lady….how adorable is that!  I must remember that for next year when my littlest is walking!

I hope that these 10 costume ideas got your creative juices flowing! What are you going to be for Halloween?
