Is it time for the kids to go back to school yet? Well for some of us depending on where you live in the country they are going back in a week or two. For the rest of us they don’t go back until the beginning of September (in our case, my kids go back to school on September 2nd this year). But it is never too early to get started with your back to school clothes shopping. It is an exciting time of the year and back to school shopping costs can add up quickly. For most families it is important to shop smart and find great deals.
One of my favorite places to find great deals on kids clothing is Kohl’s. Not only do they have great sales and coupons on clothing, they also have backpacks and other school accessories as well.
Disney has partnered with Jumping Beans and Kohl’s to present their third collection of cool kids clothing. For boys they have a line of adventurous clothing with Jake the Never Land Pirates theme.
And for girls they have the royal Sofia the First character theme. Both of the boys and girls designs are really cute and your kids will especially like them.
I have very fond memories of my many first days of school. I would always have butterflies in my stomach during the days leading up to that first day. I remember going back and forth with my mom about which was the best outfit to wear. Being that it was still warm out I always wanted to wear shorts and a tank top. She always felt I should wear a long dress, which was usually much warmer than my choice. I remember how all the kids would line up at the bus stop wearing their best outfits. We would all look so good but underneath it all we were hot, uncomfortable, and nervous. Our parents of course would be at there asking us to pose for pictures. It was a bit humiliating especially when I got older. Nowadays I get to be the parent and help my kids look their best on the first day of school. I do my best to help them dress comfortably while looking their best. But I can’t help taking a bunch of pictures even if they get a little embarrassed.
