Gothic Bride Light-Up costume review, Buycostumes.com

The sky was getting gray and the night was getting closer.  I could see the glow of the moon beginning to appear on the horizon.  As I walked home from the market I couldn’t help but feel like someone was following me.  The click clack of a mans boots were faint and in the distance.  When I walked faster the sound would speed up.  When I slowed down and stopped the sound did as well.  My palms began to sweat and I could feel my grip on the shopping bag getting looser.  Then it happened.  The handle on the plastic bag broke sending apples, oranges, and a few cans of tuna rolling onto the sidewalk.  As I bent down to pick up my groceries I heard the footsteps getting closer and closer.  I worked fast to get everything back into the bag and then, “BOOOOOOOOO!”
My heart skipped a beat and I let out a shrieking scream.  And then I noticed the man standing there was my husband with a huge grin on his face.  He said, “What’s wrong honey, it looks like you’ve seen a ghost”.  I immediately threw an orange at him nearly missing his head.  I had forgotten it was October and like always my husband had a tradition of trying to spook everyone in our family especially me.  There was something about the month of October and Halloween that really made him act like a little kid again.
“So Honey did you get the kids their Halloween costumes yet”, he asked. “So that is what I forgot to do today.  I’m sorry”, I replied.   After going back and forth a bit about how Halloween was coming soon and there would be no good costumes left in the store I told him not to worry.  I had found a great website through one of my friends called Buy Costumes.com. My friend told me that the site is always running specials and there costumes are just as good if not better than the ones in the store.
When we got home and after my husband was sufficiently scolded we went on the site together with our young daughter.  She was the only one left in the house that didn’t have a costume.  You would figure that a young girl in 1stgrade would be looking for a princess costume, or Barbie or some kind of Disney character.  But no not our daughter.  She is so much like her dad in her love for all things scary that she chose a “GothicBride Light-Up” costume from Buycostumes.com.
I particularly didn’t care much for the costume being that it was all black and had a spider web veil.  She however loved the way it looked on-line and begged us to order it. The price is very reasonable in my opinion $24.99.

With my husband in her corner it was 2 against 1 so we ended up ordering it.  A couple of days later it arrived in the mail and my daughter was jumping up and down for joy.  I think my husband did a couple of jumps himself.  Lol.  After trying it on the costume fit great and my daughter love the way it looked.  Her and my husband then went off into the kitchen to discuss how to make the costume look even more ghoulish.  I overheard them talking about where they would apply the fake blood and how some white makeup around her eyes and cheeks would make her look like the undead.  I couldn’t help but laugh thinking about how much of a good time we would all have this Halloween.
