Spider-Girl Costume review

I am going to start out with a little story from last Halloween.  Ok so last year about a week before Halloween I received a last minute invite to a Halloween Bash.  It was from one of my old time high school friends and I was really excited that she was able to track me down through facebook.  The party was for the following Saturday and costumes were mandatory.  Almost immediately my heart started beating with anxiety.  I had to find a sitter for the kids, convince my husband to come with me and most importantly find a smashing costume.
Finding a sitter was a bit difficult since it was Halloween weekend and several of my regular sitters already had plans.  But eventually I found one and booked her for the evening.  I had to throw in an extra cash bonus but hey it isn’t often that we get to go out for the night.  The next part trying to convince my homebody husband to go with me was a bit more difficult.  I got the usual, “I wont know anyone”, and “Why don’t you go with one of your friends.”  Finally I told him there would be an open bar, pool table and plenty of man stuff there.  He looked at me and said, “Oh, alright.”
The last part was to get a costume.  I went to several costume stores in the area and either they were sold out of anything good or they wanted way too much money.  This was really upsetting.  I eventually found a cheesy princess costume at my local box store.  I dressed it up a bit and after all it didn’t look that bad.  I was surprised by my husband’s costume.  He really got into it after all.  He purchased a Dracula makeup kit and mullet wig from the local pharmacy.  He then put on his old karate uniform.  He called him self, “Mullet hair Karacula”.  It was pretty hilarious.
Ok so back to the present time. It is now July and I figure it would be a good time to get a cheap fantastic costume.  I was contacted by AnytimeCostumes.com to review one of their costumes.  I ended up choosing their Classic Spiderwoman costume for review.
It arrived several days later in the mail.  After opening it up and inspecting it I was quite happy with its material and design.  It didn’t look cheaply made like most costumes you find in the stores.  Also it was quite reasonably priced at $33.99.  I am sure the same costume would sell for double in the stores if you wait until October.  After trying it on it felt and looked great.  My husband was walking by our room and I could see him pause and then walk backwards to check me out.  He was like, “Wow, that’s sexy”.  I smiled and thanked him while blushing.  He then said, “ I can’t wait for this years Halloween party”.
Isn’t it funny how a sexy costume and a year can change a man’s point of view?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free from Anytimecostumes.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
