Throughout the day I do allot of writing. Whether it is making a grocery or to-do list, writing out a check and paying bills, writing a story or poem, journaling, writing affirmations or helping my kids with their homework. Did I mention that I am also a lefty? So that’s two strikes against me as far as writing discomfort is concerned. I get this indentation on my middle finger, which is where the pain or pencil leans. Eventually it looks like a big dent and it hurts. I have tried all different types of pens from the stores. Gel pens, easy writers, and big and small pens. I have even tried special rubber comfort guards that you put on the pens. All and all none of them offer me much relief. I know your probably thinking why doesn’t she just use the computer to do most of this stuff. Well I hear you and believe me that has been suggested. However I have to say that something’s are better done with a pen or pencil in hand. There is something about that connection between the hand and the brain.
Okay so before I lose you on with all that creative stuff I want to tell all of you about a great product that I recently reviewed. It is a pen and it is called the “UGLee” pen. You can find more information about this pen at http://www.ugleepen.com/ . On their website they say that it is, “The World’s most comfortable ergonomic Pen.” Well I was delighted and optimistic to give this pen a try. After all I have tried every other pen out there.
The pen was designed by a Dr. Lee. I guess that is how it gets its name UGLee. It’s sort of catchy. You know like Ugly. The pen is kind of ugly now that I am looking at it a little more closely. The one I received is a yellow push point with a 2-inch piece of contoured rubber gel attached. When I first put it in my hand to write with it felt kind of mushy and weird. My first reaction was wow how am I going to write with this. After writing a couple of sentences on a piece of paper I noticed two things. My handwriting improved and my hand didn’t have any that familiar discomfort. As a matter of fact it was like writing with an air pen. The pen seemed to glide over the surface of the paper and my fingers felt like they were being cushioned on a comfy pillow.
I am looking forward to using the UGLee pen in my entire daily writing activities. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Especially for people with children and/or special needs children who find holding pen or pencil properly difficult. They will love the feel of this pen.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
