Smarttemp Bluetooth Thermometer is the Thermometer of the Future

As mothers we yearn for our kids to be happy all the time and in all they do. Unfortunately this is unrealistic especially when they are hit with an uninvited bug. So to accompany our want for our child’s happiness we can also prepare for the bad times. This is why a thermometer is a must in your medicine cabinet. When my children were very young, and even now some days, when they get sick I worry. I especially worry at night when I am not able to constantly know their temperature but with Smarttemp Bluetooth Thermometer I no longer have that problem. *I got the product listed below from Infanttech in exchange for my honest opinion.

Smarttemp

With Smarttemp thermometer you can monitor your child’s temperature throughout the night without waking them.

This thermometer is medical grade device, which is a fancy way of saying that it has been approved by the FDA. It can read a temperature to 0.01 degree off. It can also help you see what your child’s temperature is all night long and up to 24 hours in a row. The thermometer uses Bluetooth so to connect to it you use an app on your phone. This allows for easy access for checking on the current temperature. It also allows for medicine dosage reminders on your phone.

Smarttemp Pads

How does the thermometer stay on your child all night?

It comes with adhesive pads to help stick the device to the child. The pads on reusable and you get 15 with an option of buying packs of 10 when you run out.

smarttemp thermometer lanyard

Thermometer, lanyard and case.

One of the great features of this device is that it is easy to transport. You may be going on vacation but just because you are on vacation doesn’t mean the germs are. Having this Smarttemp device with you hours away from your doctor could be a life saver, and a money saver if you end up going to the ER just for a bug that could have been stopped with a bath and some Tylenol. Speaking of baths did you know you can check your child’s bath water with the Smarttemp thermometer? No more double, triple and quadruple checking the water before your kids get in.

Smarttemp Thermometer Blue

Graphs for your doctor.

One more great thing that is available through the app is a graph of your child’s recent temperatures. I cannot tell you how many times I have been to the doctor and could not answer their questions about how high my child’s temperature had been and for how long. This temperature graph would be a huge help with helping my mommy brain keep track of all of these numbers!

The only thing I didn’t love about this product was that my husband and I had a hard time switching the temperature reading from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Besides that one small bump in the road we were big fans of our new thermometer.

You can now buy the Smarttemp Bluetooth Thermometer at CVS for just $49.99!

What is your favorite feature of the Smarttemp thermometer? Let us know in the comments below.
