Surpise Your Children with Free Personalized Messages from Santa

Each year I cherish the magical feeling Christmas brings into the lives of my children.

We spend a lot of time talking about the “naughty and nice list”, Santa’s elves, and what special presents Santa will bring on Christmas-eve.

Have you heard the Christmas song “Santa Claus is Coming to Town“?  The lyrics say “He sees you when you’re sleeping – He knows when you’re awake – He knows if you’ve been bad or good – So be good for goodness sake!”

My children always ask how Santa knows what they are doing and question his ability to see everything they are up to. In the past, I forged letters from Santa to my children highlighting their level on the “naughty and nice list” hoping to spark some continued interest in the jolly old elf.

For example this year, Santa asked one of my children how they were doing keeping their room clean. Another was asked if they were brushing their teeth regularly like they are suppose to be doing.

The look of pure amazement and joy radiates from their faces as Santa talks to them personally. To them it is Christmas magic. A happiness almost impossible to recreate.

For the last few years this personalized message from Santa has become a Christmas tradition. It has also helped prolong the inevitable by a year or two.

Regardless of that, personalized messages from Santa are always going to be fun and highly anticipated.

Give it a try in your family and let me know how it worked for you.  What do you tell your children when they ask about Santa?

I would love to hear what type of experiences you had with it in the comments below.
