Janod Toys Teach Your Toddler Object Orientation, Critical Thinking Skills, and Hand-Eye Coordination

I struggle to find good toys for my children between the ages of 1 and 3.  My focus is always on fun and educational toys that will help encourage learning and interactive play. Janod toys have proven to be a great brand with toys that compliment the needs of my growing toddler.

Janod Square Stackable Pyramid

From a very early age all my children have enjoyed hours of building and knocking down block towers.  Each stackable pyramid toy by Janod have 5 sides of whimsical artwork that blends together to tell a story.

Sometimes she stacks them into a tower. Other times she lines them up side-by-side.  No matter how she is playing with them, she is always laughing and having fun.

If the blocks were made with plastic instead of cardboard the toy would last a lot longer.  My toddler tripped and fell on one of the large sized squares and it broke one of the edged.  It is nothing tape can’t fix, but it is a little disheartening to have a new toy, that is played with daily, easily broken.

Janod Stackable Fox

janod-stackable-foxThis is a well constructed stacking toy. It helps strengthen hand-eye coordination and object orientation. My daughter has enjoyed learning colors, size, and movement while playing with it.  The body of the fox is made up of five circular wood blocks.  Although this toy is made of wood, it is easy for toddlers to tote around the house and play with.

The toy is a good size for toddlers to play with; it isn’t too big or too small.  Imaginative play is not really a strong factor to this toy, however it does have good educational play involved with it.

Janod Kudkid 9 Block Puzzle

scensory-puzzle-for-kidsThe 9 block puzzles bring a little challenge and fun to children ages 18 months and up. Each side of the block has a different picture on it, creating six different puzzles. Unlike other toddler puzzles, this toy can be used multiple ways.

Using critical thinking skills, children have to match the correct puzzle pieces together to reveal the final product.  For an 18 month old, this is a bit challenging, but still a great toy to introduce to them.  If putting together the puzzle is too difficult, the blocks are lightweight and easy to use as building blocks. My daughter is still to young to understand how to put the puzzles together, but she loves building and throwing these blocks.

These are only three of the numerous fun and educational toys by Janod. Not only do they have toys for toddlers, but also for young children.  You can check out all their toys and where to buy them here.

Alex Brands provided me these items for review. Regardless of our agreement, I was not required to write a positive review. The words expressed above are my own opinion. Enjoy
