Hidden Magnets Put a New Twist on the One-piece Swimsuit by Fasten Swimsuit

Finding the right swimsuits for little girls newborn to 5t can be quiet challenging. Most times, the idea of a one-piece swimsuit is far from ideal during these ages. Although a one-piece swimsuit is nice because it keeps the body covered better than most two piece swimsuits, changing a diaper or helping a toddler go to the bathroom in a wet swimsuit is extremely difficult.

Fasten SwimsuitsFasten swimsuits has created a way to make the one piece swimsuit more than ideal for girls ages 0-5t. Their design completely eliminates the frustration of a dirty diaper or bathroom break fiasco when in a once piece swimsuit.

Fasten has provided me with two swimsuits so I can form an opinion of the product and share it with you.  Regardless of our agreement, I do not have to give a positive review. I will share my honest opinions with you.

The Fasten swimsuit design puts a new twist on the one-piece swimsuit because it opens from the bottom using hidden magnets. Now, when the urge to go comes to your toddler, or a dirty diaper needs changed, it is easy to take care of.

fasten swimsuit for infantsSwimsuits always seem challenging to buy because the sizes are not always easy to figure out. I personally try to go one size bigger when getting swimsuits.

This tactic helped when selecting the swimsuit for my 4 year old.  I ordered her a 5t swimsuit and it was perfect for her. Her swimsuit not only had the hidden magnets, but also two snaps on the edges of the flaps to make sure no wardrobe malfunctions occurred.

Having this swimsuit for my 4 year old was great.  She wears floaties in the water most of the time, so if a bathroom break is needed, it is frustrating and takes time to get her floaties off in preparation for going to the bathroom.

Finding the right size of swimsuit for my baby was a little more challenging.  She is 9months old now, and she is in an 18month Fasten swimsuit.  I love the concept of this swimsuit so much, and yes, diaper changes while using the Fasten swimsuit are so easy now.

The smaller Fasten swimsuit sizes do not have additional snap buttons, like the bigger sizes do, so the bottoms come unattached from time to time.  I think that it is mostly due to the additional thickness the swim diaper adds. If snap buttons were added to the smaller size swimsuits, I think this product would be perfect.

Here is a video showcasing Fasten swimsuits in action. The magnet feature is so neat, but hard for me to show you, so I have included a video from Fasten.

What did you think?  What swimsuit style is your favorite?
