Have you seen Luna Petunia? It is a show that you can watch on Netflix. My four year old daughter loves it. She has probably seen every episode at least 3 times. If you have not seen this show let me give you a quick overview. It is about a girl named Luna Petunia who for her birthday her aunt gives her a chest that takes her to a land called Amazia. She meets new friends and in each episode they go on adventures and help solve problems, typically problems that your child can relate to their life.
Now that you know a little bit about the show, did you know they also have super adorable toys? When I found out about their toy line I knew that I needed to get some for Christmas! I know my daughter will be so surprised to open them up that morning and start making adventures of her own.
*I received the products listed below in exchange for my honest opinion.
This is the Luna Petunia Playset – Amazia Garden.
As I mentioned before Amazia is the magical land that Luna Petunia can visit. This playset is a perfect illustration of what the show is all about, fun and adventure. The colors are all vibrant and bright and Luna comes decked out in her usual attire. The orange flower in the left of the picture can “grow” right in front of your eyes. The purple flower spins. The cave is the fun mirror cave that shows up in the show. This whole playset is sure to get your child’s imagination running.
This is the Luna Petunia Talking Doll.
The Luna Petunia doll is 14″ tall, so about the size of an average doll. She comes all dressed in her usual fun and bright attire, even her sparkly purple boots. Her hair is even full of sparkles too! Another great thing about her blue hair is that your child can brush and style it.
Luna is even wearing her signature purple headband with it’s purple flower.
On the show Luna is wearing this headband in every episode. It is adorable and cute. Not just that but it also spins when she has a great idea. It does not spin on this doll but your child, if they watch the show, would know something was missing if she was without it. There was one thing I didn’t like so much about the headband though. I didn’t love that it was attached with plastic. I accidentally cut it off thinking it was packaging and now it is very loose. It may have to be attached later with some bobby pins. Besides that I think it is adorable and goes perfectly with her sparkly blue hair.
Oh and don’t forget about Luna’s magic key.
Luna got this key during her first visit to Amazia, it unlocks her manor. On the doll when you have it flipped to the front it can be pressed into her chest. This is how you get Luna to talk. She says some of her signature phrases from the show like “swirling swirling hand in hand, let’s have an adventure in Amazia Land”. Your child can even pretend a part of your house is Amazia Land and use her key to open her special manor!
Does your child watch Luna Petunia? Which of the above do you think they would like more? Let us know in the comments!
