Less Mess Equals Less Stress with the Highchair Bib by Real Innovators

When you have a baby learning to eat solids you can guarantee two things. The first are priceless pictures leaving all wondering if any food actually was consumed, since the baby is covered from head to toe in whatever cuisine was served. The second being a never ending job of sweeping and moping the floor underneath their highchair and eating area.

highchair-bib-by-real-innovationsReal Innovators provided me with a highchair bib to use and review.

In the early stages of learning to eat, most of the messes that are made by babies can be easily cleaned up by utilizing a bib that is placed around their neck. That bib serves as a catching device and saves caretakers numerous loads of laundry and baths.

Without the highchair bib installed, messes are made instantly. Five of those six puffs would have been caught by the highchair bib, if not all of them.

As the baby starts learning how to handle solids more on their own more messes, that are not as easy to contain, start occurring.  Food gets dropped, thrown, or spilled all over the highchair, the floor, the walls, and the tables.  I honestly can say that this is guaranteed to happen to you, as a caretaker, at some point in your life.

My baby is now just over one year old. She is a professional mess maker, making me a professional floor cleaner. Anytime food is involved, a mess is inevitable. Having the highchair bib has helped to give me a break from the constant sweeping and moping that is mandatory with my little girl.

We don’t have a traditional highchair anymore, but the highchair bib fit great on our booster seat and regular sized kitchen table chair.

The highchair bib comes in a mesh bag for easy storing and washing. When it is time to attach it to a highchair or chair booster, it easily unfolds and can be secured with drawstrings. The drawstring feature allows for great versatility and can allow for proper installation on many highchairs.

Cleaning up this mess is stressful enough. So glad the highchair bib caught the wet noodles so I didn’t have to stress about adding moping to my list of things to do.

The highchair bib does a great job at catching food and liquid that is propelled its way. In my opinion, it catches about 90% of the items that are thrown off by my baby.  I no longer worry about giving my daughter mac & cheese, crackers, or a cup without a lid on it because the highchair bib catches it when it is thrown overboard. I love not having to step on wet, stickiness daily!

I couldn’t have planned this picture if i tried. The highchair bib not only caught the cup that was dropped, but it also caught the juice as well, preventing an even sticker mess to deal with.

Cleaning the highchair bib is very easy. All you have to do is untie the drawstrings, slip the bib off, dump the collection of crumbs and messes into the garbage, bend it back into its compact-able shape, and place it in the mesh bag it came in.

I washed the highchair bib with other clothes on gentle. It washed well and dried extremely quick.

Throw that in the wash on gentle and line dry it for about 15 minutes and it is ready to catch all the messes again. I was pleasantly surprised how well all the dried up food and liquid stains washed out while it was in the mesh bag.

The highchair bib would make a great addition to any home. Give it to an expectant mom as a gift and she will forever be grateful. You can order a highchair bib for you and a friend here.

The highchair bib has certainly made feeding my daughter a lot easier. After-all, less mess equals less stress!

Thank you for the great review and help in spreading the word! I know it works as I have 2 little ones that both used it and were the inspiration in designing it!
