J+C Essentials provides affordable, quality, handmade bath and body products!

J+C Essentials company is a rare find that I just feel like I need to tell everyone about! With fragrant products, the use of high quality materials, and affordable prices, I just can’t keep this good news quiet!

Chris, the amazing woman who makes the products, sent me six of her new products to review and share my opinions with you all. My favorite item out of the group of products is the Magic Carpet Deodorizer. It’s my favorite for 2 reasons. Reason #1-It smells amazing! Like really really REALLY amazing! It smells so wonderful that I wish it was a person deodorizer not just for the carpets! 😉 

Reason #2: IT WORKS and a little goes a long way! I did a light sprinkling and it barely made a dent in my 2 oz bottle It is a completely dry powder, not oily at all, and vacuumed up really well but left an amazing fresh scent on the floor. I love that this bottle is just $2! $2, that is it! All the products at J+C Essentials are so affordably priced I almost feel like I’m not paying enough for the quality I’m receiving! Now, if I can just figure out a way to make this product deodorize me in addition to my carpets, I’ll be in great shape! 😉

Another product I tried was Pep Body Spray. This 2 ounce body spray retails for $3.25. I’ve heard that it is quite similar to Molton Brown scented products that you can buy at “top of the line” department stores and beauty counters. I did a little research online and found a 1.7 ounce bottle of that stuff runs between $100-165! HOLY SMOKES, I’ll take this $3.25 bottle of very similar smelling body spray any day! It has a very pleasant and sophisticated scent to it! I also noticed that every bottle or container that these J+C Essentials products are in are high quality. The spritz that comes out of this little bottle is impressive! It reduces the amount of sprays that I have to use. I’ve used this spray for about 7 days and you can see it has barely made a dent in the amount in the bottle!  I loved the J+C Essentials Sleepy Time Sea Salt Soak. It has a strong lavender scent with real pieces of lavender in it! You can add as much or as little to the bath, but again a little goes a long way! It has the soothing characteristics that lavender is well known for and makes bubble baths even more relaxing!The coconut lip stuff smelled amazing! Are you seeing a pattern here with these products? They all smell divine, there are no shortcuts when it is time to scent these products and I really appreciate that! More importantly than the smell, the lip stuff is smooth and is applied easily. I love that J+C Essentials puts the ingredients on each product, so I know exactly what I’m using. I looked at my store brand lip stuff and it had 17 ingredients in it and I could only pronounce 5 of them! The coconut lip stuff from J+C Essentials only has 7 ingredients in it and I can not only pronounce them all, but also know what they actually are!Perhaps the item I’ve used the most frequently in the past 2 weeks of trying these products, is the lemongrass luxurious hand and body cream. We had a cold spell for about 2 weeks and just like every fall my skin dried up in a hurry! Especially the skin around my nose. It becomes, red, itchy, and flaky every year when fall comes around. In just 3 days of using the lemongrass hand and body cream, once at night, my dry skin had vanished. I took a before and after picture, but does anyone actually want to see my nose up close…probably not, so here is just a picture of the awesome cream! I also found out that it is a water based hand cream, so that annoying oily look and feel you get after using any lotion doesn’t linger with this hand cream! I’ve used it on my hands, feet, and elbows too!

The final product I tried out was the Honey Almond Foaming Hand Soap. This may be the 2nd best smelling product I’ve ever smelled. (1st being that amazing carpet deodorizer I mentioned above!) Man, it just smells amazing! I know I mentioned it before, but I really love the quality of the scent and the quality of the containers. I have a 2 year old that will wash her hands and use an entire bottle of soap in 1 day if we don’t lock the bottle. Most store bought bottles requires you to push down and twist, which wastes some soap. I loved that this bottle was so high quality that there is no pushing down required, just twist it to the left or right to lock/unlock. The foam-i-ness is good and again, the smell is divine!
