The perfect Sofia the First Present this Christmas for your Princess Loving Daughter

In our house we have a handful of favorite princesses and one of them is Sofia the First. Her show is full of great lessons to be learned, fun adventures and a lot of cute new songs. For Christmas I knew I wanted to get my daughter something that had to do with Sofia, since she is one of her favorites, and that is when I found the Magic Dancing Sofia from Just Play.

*I received the following product in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is the Magic Dancing Sofia from Just Play.

She comes with just three pieces:

  • The Sofia doll
  • Her crown
  • A light up wand

Batteries are also needed with this toy. But like most Just Play toys it comes with batteries, they just might not last too long so make sure to have backups on hand. The batteries are needed for both the doll and the wand.

The crown comes attached to Sofia’s head.

I am not sure yet what is supposed to be done when a doll has something attached to their head with plastic like a crown. Is the plastic supposed to stay on? Or are you supposed to cut it off? Let me know what you do when you find a doll like this. I decided to cut the plastic off to be able to place the crown higher on Sofia’s head. This however led to the crown not staying on very well. But this is only a small problem. Keep reading to see what this doll is really all about.

Sofia can sing, dance and talk with your Princess loving daughter.

The most fun thing about this Sofia the First doll is that is interacts with it’s wand. All your child has to do is make sure both the wand and doll are on and they wave the wand and Sofia will start interacting with them. This really makes the magic of the toy come alive. One of the fun interactions that goes on between Sofia and the person holding the wand is that you can wave the wand along with Sofia’s movements. One of her movements is a figure 8 which she prompts the child to do with the wand while the dances a figure 8. Another fun feature of this doll is that her dress lights up.

It retails for only $24.99 which makes it a very reasonably costing Christmas gift for your young child!

Who do you know who would love this Magic Dancing Sofia for Christmas? What would their favorite feature be? Let us know in the comments!
