A Toy that any Car loving Child is Sure to Love- Double X-Track from Kidoozie

My son loves cars and pretty much anything else with wheels. We recently went to a consignment sale and got him a huge bag of cars. But he didn’t have anything to drive his cars on so I wanted to get him some sort of track. That is when I came across the Double X-Track Build-A-Road from Kidoozie. It comes with two cars but it is also great for other small cars you may have around the house.

*I got the product listed below from International Playthings LLC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Double X-Track

Double X-Track is recommended for children ages 3 and up.

I originally had gotten this for my son but it ended up that both my kids loved it. My son however is only 2 1/2. They recommend this toy for children 3 and older because of some of the smaller pieces (one being the removable tires). Because of this I make sure to always be next to my son while he is playing. My daughter who is 4 has a great time playing with the car track and following the rules. This makes it easier to not have to constantly be watching what she is doing, so it is a great toy for her to play with while I get some cleaning done!

Double X-Track IncludedIncluded in the Double X-Track:

-Over 11 feet of track

-two cross tracks

-two battery powered cars (batteries not included, one AAA battery needed for each car)

-One tunnel/bridge

-8 tire replacements

-2 track lifts

Double X-Track PlayMy kids both loved the Double X-Track.

One of the things they loved doing was putting their cars on going the opposite directions. This was fun because they got to see which car would smash the other off the track. Then they would put the cars back on and do it again. This went on for quite a while and became a favorite very quickly.

One of the things that I wasn’t a huge fan of with this product was the latch that held in the battery. It didn’t stay in very well. If the car went over a big bump than it would unlatch and the battery would fall out. I ended up having to tape it to make sure it stayed on. I did however appreciate that they included the extra tires. My son is in a phase (well I hope it is a phase) where he likes to take off the tires of his cars. For these cars it was the same but they don’t work very well without the tires. So it was nice to be able to have those extras when we eventually lost the first sets.

Double X-Track Circle

Our favorite part of Double X-Track Build-A-Road is that you get to build the road!

There are so many different ways you can put your road together. Some ways are more difficult to arrange than others. But kids of all ages are able to build a road. We started with the road shown in the first pictures and then tried out some simpler roads. We were even able to make a cylinder that would move with the car in it, my son thought this was really entertaining. There are almost endless possibilities for what can be done! We highly recommend this product to any car loving kids!

Who do you know that would love the Double X-Track Build-A-Road? Let us know in the comments below!
