Magnets have Never Been This Fun – Magnaflex Magnetic Construction Toys

I recently tried out a new product and I am going to just tell you right away that it is one of my new favorite toys for my kids. They are Magnaflex magnets and I love how creative my kids can get with them and that there is not just one way for play. *I got the products listed below from WowWee in exchange for my honest opinion.

MagnaFlex Sets

Magnaflex magnets come in many colors and a few different sets.

The two sets that my kids got were the rainbow set and the animal set. They also have a critters set, vehicles set and a couple others. There are a lot of options for the likes of many children. You can also just choose a set based off of color since you don’t need to follow the instruction manuals to have fun.

Magnaflex Pieces

This is the contents of the rainbow set.

This particular set contains 22 magnaflex strips and 12 connector pieces. Some sets will contain more and some will contain less, the animal set only includes 8 magnaflex strips and 6 connector pieces. I think it is fun that we have more than one set so we can have a lot of different colors.

Magnaflex Rainbow CreationsThere are so many creations that you can make.

Each set comes with a how too booklet that show you some of the creations you can make. Some of the suggested creations were a bit hard, even I couldn’t figure them out, but most of them were really awesome. With the rainbow set we made a spider, a ball and a crown. My daughter’s favorite was of course the crown! She also loves to make bracelets, necklaces, anklets and rings to wear with her crown.

Another fun way to play with your Magnaflex magnet strips is to put them on the fridge. They are also very easy to stack together for easy storage.

Magnaflex Animals Creations

The animals set had my favorite creations.

The rainbow sets had a lot of fun creation suggestions but the ones for the animals set were adorable. Above are a turtle and an owl. How stinking cute are they? They were also both very easy to make. Most of the animal set directions were easy to follow. I would definitely recommend the animal set if you are choosing to just get one. Although I would highly recommend getting more than one set.

These Magnaflex sets are seriously my kids new favorite thing to play with. I love them too because they are great for their development in so many ways and screen free!

Which Magaflex set would your child like the most? What would your child love to make with them?
