How to Transform Play Time with Transformers for Toddlers

One of my favorite things to experience with my kids is watching them enjoy things one of their parent’s enjoyed as a kid. Some of those things are wearing clothes from our childhood, liking the same shows and playing with the same toys. A toy we recently got that was a bonding moment between my son and husband was the Transformers Rescue Bots Optimus Prime Racing Trailer Playset. Transformers seem to have been around forever and their popularity is not dropping. It has been fun to watch both my boys share a common interest while both being old enough to enjoy the bonding experience.*I got the product listed below in exchange for my honest opinion.

Transformers

This Transformers set is for children ages 3-7 years of age.

Kids these days are getting exposed to a lot more things earlier. So it is so easy for them to like something they can’t have. I probably normally wouldn’t be able to buy my son something Transformers. He is just too young to understand how those toys work. With this Transformers playset the car and truck easily transform into the robots. He also loves pushing them around the floor as well since he is obsessed with cars.

Transformers Truck

This playset includes four components.

First there is the trailer. Then there is the front of the truck that transforms into a robot and also holds the trailer when it is a truck. There is also a car that transforms into a robot. Finally there is a fin that fits on the back of the trailer as well as a few other locations.

Transformers Ramp

Where does the fin go?

One of the locations that the fin fits is on the back of the truck. The trailer can then be put on top to create a launch ramp for the car. My kids don’t use this feature as much, but it is probably because they are on the younger side of the age recommendation. I tried the launch feature out a few times and it was a lot of fun.

Transformers Robots

What do you think?

Would your son, or daughter, love this Transformers set? Would it be fun watching them enjoy something you or your husband enjoyed as a child? What do you think their favorite feature would be? Also who is their favorite Transformer? Let us know in the comments below!
