Ever since Frozen was in theaters it has been a hit with young girls. Even this past Christmas my daughter was requesting Frozen gifts. She was excited to find on Christmas morning a Frozen Elsa doll wrapped next to her stocking. It was the Disney Frozen Northern Lights Elsa. I was so happy to see her excitement as she opened her gift!

*The product talked about below was provided to me by Jakks Pacific in exchange for my honest opinion.

Any girl will love going on this a new adventure with Elsa.

The Northern Lights Elsa Doll is not just a doll, it is a story and a new adventure. Elsa needs help finding the northern lights so her powers will come back. This can be done through interacting with the magical snowflake. By waving your hand over the snowflake Elsa’s dress will light up to reveal the northern lights. The snowflake can also be put into nightlight mode and will change colors for about 8 minutes before turning off.

Interacting with the snowflake also gets Elsa to interact with you.

As you wave your hand over the snowflake Elsa will say one of 40 phrases while lighting up different colors. You can also get Elsa to sing “Let It Go” by holding your hand over the snowflake. What girl, any age, doesn’t know and love that song, and now your daughter can sing it along with Elsa.

The Northern Lights Elsa Doll is so detailed.

If you have read any of my reviews from the past you probably know that I love when toys are very well detailed. I really love the details that can be seen throughout the whole of this Elsa doll. Her hair is so soft and is braided on one side, just like from the movie. Her dress is sparkly and covered in Elsa’s favorite thing, snowflakes. and even her little shoes can come off to reveal her cute little toes. Any girl, 3 and up, would love to add Elsa to their doll collection and only they can help Elsa bring her powers back through the power of the northern lights!
