A Toy That is Fun for the Whole Family: Melody the Musical Turtle

So do you know those toys that make noise and light up and are super annoying? ThisĀ is not one of those kinds of toys! When I received our Melody the Musical Turtle in the mail, in exchange for my honest review, I was in Connecticut and my husband was at home in Georgia. Since we weren’t home for another few days it sat on the floor in the master bedroom until my husband decided to try it out. Then we skyped with him and he told us how much fun he thought Melody was and that he had played the memory game for a little while and it had gotten hard even for him.

So you may be asking what is this magical toy, here it is:

Melody the Musical Turtle is from Leapfrog.

First off Melody is so stinking cute. She is a little green turtle with colored number buttons on her back. She talks and can play games with your children which are perfect for children ages 2 years to 5 years and even for dad’s aged 27.

Melody comes with three different play modes, learn and play, memory game and make music. These games help teach your children important skills like colors, memory and numbers.

“Melody the Musical Turtle offers 10 fast-moving, musical activities that tune memory and preschool skills. Little ones think and move quickly to find numbers and colors on Melody’s shell or repeat patterns from memory.” -Leapfrog website

My favorite part though has got to be the cute detail that Leapfrog put into Melody’s features. Like her cute eyes that are looking up to the side in a bashful way and her corner smile with a tongue.

So if you are looking for a toy your kids will love and you won’t want to throw out the window because you are playing with it right along side your child than get them a Melody the Musical Turtle this holiday season!
