Having a Relaxing Spa Day with Orbeez

04/25/2016 By Ashley 11 Comments

My daughter loves to get her nails painted. We have a bucket of about 10 or more nail polish colors she chooses from, usually she uses all the colors we have, one color for each nail. It is always a fun time and it is one of my favorite things to do with my daughter, it is such a great way to have some mommy and daughter bonding time. Recently I wanted to expand our mommy and daughter nail day and turn it into a spa day and that is when I came across Orbeez. They provided me with the products talked about below so I could share my honest opinion of them. Orbeez Spa First of all, I could not stop thinking about how great of an idea this was. My daughter and I have played with Orbeez before and it was fun but I never would have thought of using them for a spa day. Orbeez Hand Spa

This is the Orbeez Relaxing Hand Spa.

It comes with 600 Orbeez, yes 600, and a nail care tool and the hand spa. The hand spa has a fountain, located at the back, that shoots up water that bounces off the purple piece and lands on your hands. Orbeez Hand In the above picture I used two of the packets of Orbeez provided, 300 Orbeez, and it filled most of the hand spa with some added water. So I would say that you could easily get two spa day uses out of this before having to buy more Orbeez. Orbeez Hand Spa Day The Orbeez hand spa was fun to use and the Orbeez felt good on my hands. I also really liked how the Orbeez looked in the water, especially the clear Orbeez which disappear when you drop them in the water. One recommendation I have when using this product is to make sure to put in some warm water, because the Orbeez will be cold from sitting out while growing which takes at least a few hours. This will help make the experience more enjoyable. My one complaint was that the fountain for the hand spa did not work very well, it would stop working but when it wasn’t working I didn’t really miss it. Orbeez Foot Spa

This is the Orbeez Ultimate Soothing Spa.

It comes with the foot spa and 2,000 Orbeez, and you thought 600 was a lot! Orbeez Foot Spa Day One of my favorite features of the foot spa is the waterfall feature which spits out Orbeez on top of your feet. This was also fun for my daughter, and my son could not stop laughing and watching the Orbeez getting spit out. Another great feature is that you grow the Orbeez right in the foot spa instead of having to use separate containers like the hand spa. All you have to do is add some Orbeez, some water and then when they are grown you can use the built in strainer to easily dump out the water while keeping the Orbeez. Orbeez Foot Spa Fan When I used the foot spa I used one of the packets provided, so 1,000 Orbeez. It was a lot of Orbeez but I think that I would have liked to have used more so that when someone was using the foot spa their feet could be completely covered with Orbeez. So I would say that if you are ok with a smaller amount of Orbeez than the foot spa comes with enough Orbeez for two spa days but if you want more like I did, I would say that there is only enough Orbeez provided for one use. I would also recommend that after you grow your Orbeez and dump out the cold water to add in some warm water for a few minutes to warm the Orbeez and then dump that water out as well and that way you will be putting your feet in warm Orbeez instead of cold ones. These were both fun products and my daughter and I had some fun adding to our spa day experience with the help of Orbeez. Orbeez Baby *He is not standing, Orbeez recommends not to stand in the foot spa because you can slip and fall, he is sitting on a little stool. What are some of your favorite spa day rituals with your children? Would you incorporate these Orbeez spa products into your spa days?

Entering is easy, you only need to do at least one entry in the giveaway below but the more entries you complete, the better your chances of winning will be! I would add a mani and a pedi for sure and a good cup of coffee. You might as well go for a great facial as well!
