Christmas shopping in my house has begun and this year there has been a few things I have learned about shopping for toys for toddlers vs. infants.
- It is way easier to find toys for toddlers than it is for infants.
- I enjoy shopping for my girl way more than shopping for my boy, guess it was gunna happen since I am a girly girl through and through.
- Toddler toys are so small and infant toys seem huge in comparison.
This last thing really started to get me thinking that I needed to start looking for some portable toys for my son, so I could have toys on hand for both of my kids when out and about. This was a lot easier said than done because I wanted more than just a rattle or small hand held toy, I wanted something that could keep him interested at church or at a friends house for a longer period of time. Then I came across a couple of really fun portable Hasbro infant toys that were both “huge” and portable. Don’t quite understand how this could be possible? Keep reading to find out!
These are the Hasbro infant toys.
The first of the toys is the Playskool Fold n’ Go Busy Elephant.
The first of the Hasbro infant toys is perfect for tummy time.
It is soft, has a crinkly ear, a rattle, a squeaker in the foot, mirror on the hand and a few other fun tummy activities for your little one to enjoy. I also love the bright colors that any infant doing tummy time would love to look at and play with.
So you may be asking yourself “how is this thing portable?” well let me show you!
Yep that’s right. This toy folds up into the head! When folded up it is the perfect size for a diaper bag, backpack or even a purse.
Want to see how this toy is folded up? I was able to do it with one hand, watch in the video below to see for yourself how easy this toy was to fold up and make portable.
The second of the Hasbro infant toys that I got is the Playskool Pop Up Shape Sorter.
Shape sorter toys has been and probably will always be one of my favorite infant toys.
I especially love this shape sorter toy because it is so easy to compact and I can already tell that there is a lot higher chance that the shapes for this sorter will not be lost within the first month of playing with it. This is probably so because of how the toy folds up and holds all the shapes. I also love how there are two of each shape and that they fit together for easy storage.
I was also able to make a short video showing how this toy is easy to pop up and play with when on the go.
I was really impressed by both of these Hasbro infant toys and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for toys for infants who love tummy time or infants who will be 18 months soon and would really enjoy the shape sorter toy.
*I received samples of the products mentioned above for free to facilitate this post. All opinions are mine.
