Well talk about disagreements my husband and I had one the other day that was left in a deadlock. We were discussing the appropriate age for girls to start wearing makeup. Lets say he is a bit more conservative in this area especially when it comes to our 6-year-old daughter. He is of the opinion that girls shouldn’t start wearing makeup until they are in high school at the ages of 16-17. He also added that at that age they should only be wearing a lip-gloss or lipstick. His point is that girls should not try to look older than they are, that it only gets them into trouble. It is my opinion that makeup and looking pretty is part of a girl’s life and he couldn’t really understand. I feel that it is okay for girls to start wearing a little bit of makeup in middle school and then by high school it was all okay. I also felt that girls should be able to play with makeup at any age. It’s one thing to play around the house and another to go out in public.
The products came in this cute pink cotton pouch as pictured above. It is basically a pretend make-up kit that comes with: Two eye shadows – blue and purple, one pink blush, one pink shimmer lip balm, water based nail polish and 2 applicators. The kit is very well put together and the colors are basic.
I was happy the eye shadows easily came off. I just used the cotton pad and warm water.
Of course I felt it best to do this when my husband wasn’t around. I figured we had to agree to disagree on the topic of makeup and when girls should start wearing it. As my daughter gets older we will revisit the topic. Until then my daughter and I will enjoy these little glamour days by ourselves.
I would recommend the Organic Beauty now to all my readers since not only they make all natural and organic play make up for kids but also organic beauty, body and bath products for moms and baby, kids teen and men.
