If you ask most people today what they worry about the most in their lives you will get similar responses. Things such as healthcare, employment, education, housing, and safety are usually top concerns. With healthcare in the last couple of years we have seen many changes occurring some for the better and some for worse. One item related to healthcare that seems to always be rising is the cost of prescription medication. Even if you do have health insurance some medicines are not covered or are still very expensive. We have all heard stories about people who had to choose between filling their prescriptions or buying groceries. Getting your prescriptions filled shouldn’t be such a daunting and challenging task. The folks over at Target Pharmacy understand this and have some great programs designed to save the consumer lots of money. For example, did you know that Target Pharmacy offers hundreds of generic prescriptions at a cost of only $4? And they will match the price of other pharmacies as well. Target also has a really good pharmacy rewards program where after you fill 5 prescriptions you get a 5% discount off a day of shopping. You can get faster rewards by filling pet prescriptions and getting vaccines. That’s right you can get your vaccines taken care of at your local Target Pharmacy. Just walk in and get the shot you need. They provide the flu, shingles, whooping cough, tetanus, meningitis, and pneumonia vaccines. No more making an appointment at your doctors and having to wait all day in the waiting room just to get a shot. If you’re concerned about transferring your prescriptions over, well Target has got you covered. With Target, you can “Flip the Script”, which makes it really easy to change pharmacy providers because they do most of the work for you. I have to tell you this service really came in handy recently. My Grandmother’s local pharmacy that she had been going to for about 30 years was closing down. She was worried sick that there wasn’t going to be another pharmacy that could take care of her like they did. She was also concerned that she would have to make appointments with all of her doctors just to get new prescriptions. I told her about Target Pharmacy and how they could not only save her money but that they would take care of all her prescription transfers. Of course she was really apprehensive not having dealt with Target Pharmacy before. I ended up taking her over to the nearest Target Pharmacy and introduced her to the pharmacist. She explained her concerns to him. After discussing everything the pharmacist assured her that he would take care of everything. Well he kept his word and my Grandmother couldn’t be happier.
