Just as the title says, these Huggies slip on’s are in and out. I recently purchased a box of these Huggies for the first time. I do love them, but there were a few concerns that I had. For the most part though I will definitely buy these diapers again and I always want to have them on hand, for those special certain occasions that I believe these are necessary. (I will share some stories later on.)
The first thing about these slip on diapers is the size. They carry size 3-6. This is for a good reason though. Can you imagine having a newborn baby and putting slip on diapers on them? Yes, that would be awful! The poor babies head would bobble everywhere while you slip the diaper on. That makes me know that the company really put a lot of thought into these diapers.
Since my daughter is 13 months old and walking, these diapers are great for her. She is getting to the stage where she now wants to stand to get dressed. I am not liking this stage because diapers are nearly impossible to get on! But because of these slip on diapers it is a piece of cake for me to put on her. All I have to do is slip on and we’re done! Fast, easy, and efficient. The sides are stretchy as well, making it super easy to put on.
The diaper is also great for her walking stage. I haven’t had her leak through these diapers yet. That is a huge plus for me. Every time I thought that her diaper would leak, it never did.
Here are some great features of the slip on diaper:
Easy On & Off
Trusted leak protection
Theses diapers would great for potty training as well! I think I will use these when I potty train daughter. They slip on, but if they go you don’t have to change it right away because it is meant for diapers. I have heard of people having bad experiences with pull-ups, I think I will use these instead.
The only concern I had was when I had to put some ointment on my daughter’s rash. It was hard because she would have to stand and then I’d slip the diaper up and it would get on the back of the diaper. That was the only problem I had, but with thought I was able to do it without getting on the diaper, but it took more effort.
The diaper slips on, but as said before it is easy to take off. You can tear the sides for easy off, so it will be just like a regular diaper.
I have one experience with the Huggies slip on’s that I would like to share. My daughter fell asleep in the car when we were traveling home one night. She needed a diaper change really bad, but we didn’t want to wake her. I was able to hold her while my husband slipped the old diaper off and the new diaper on. It was so convenient, and I always want to have these on hand for that specific reason!
