Most of my reviews and giveaways are mainly for women or children. This one is very different, it’s for all of you men out there. Now I know most men don’t read blogs, so all you wives out there need to read this and tell your husbands about it, and WIN the giveaway.
Let me just start with the name DadGear. Just hearing that name and Logo, what comes to mind? What comes to mind for me is, stuff for dad’s. Well ding ding ding, I was right. The website is targeted towards Dad’s, and mainly specializes in diaper bags. I recently received the Dad backpack to review (my husband will use it mainly, but I really like it, so I may use it as well!) When I showed him the bag when he got home from work he couldn’t help but give me one of his smirks! I was excited to show him how to use it! The main reason he loved the bag is because he now doesn’t have to lug around our bright floral print diaper bag! He thanks DadGear kindly for their generous invention.
So, what is a dad backpack? What’s so great about it? What are it’s features? I will answer many of those questions soon, but before I start I want to add 2 quotes my husband said about his DadGear backpack. First he said, “I love it.” A simple statement, yet so profound from a man’s point of view. Next he said, “It makes me feel more involved.” He feels cool now that he is always carrying the diaper bag and that he gets to pack it.
The backpack comes with 3 main zipper front pockets, 2 bottle holders on the sides, stroller straps, a spot just for diapers, and easy access to wipes (GREAT TOOL for Dad’s!) The main zipper unzips all the way down. I almost think that it could be used as a changing spot if needs be. The fact that it unzips all the way down is so smart. It makes it super easy to access everything in the spot.
The easy access to the wipes is probably my favorite part about this diaper bag. They have, at the very front of the bag a little tab that has Velcro to keep it shut. Once you pull the tab there you have the wipes container. You can put the tab back and it doesn’t even look like something is there, but there is. You don’t even have to take the wipes out! Just leave them there and refill it when they’re empty. How to refill the wipes,is by taking the wipes container out in the picture above!
Another great feature about the backpack it the spot for just diapers! It is at the top of the bag making it very easy to just grab a diaper. This is another favorite feature of the bag!
The bag also has 2 VERY large bottle holders on the sides. It was so big that I could even fit half my arm inside. each side would be able to hold 2 bottles. So you could potentially hold 4 bottles in the bag.
The inside of the bag is a light gray, it is a light color so you can easily see inside the bag and you won’t be digging in a big black hole trying to find something you need. Like those dang binkies. They are always hiding at the bottom of the bag.
I had to post at least one picture of my 2 cuties with the diaper bag, don’t they both just look so happy?!
My husband loves his DadGear Backpack, I even love his backpack. I am very jealous of it actually, but I am so glad he has it and that he feels important with it. I would recommend any parent to have this bag, man or woman. It can be suitable for both. I am so glad for coming in contact with this company and being able to review this great needed bag for families!
It’s GIVEAWAY time!! DadGear has kindly offered to giveaway ONE (1) Fashionable Sport bag diaper bag that has designs for both men and women. You even get to pick your print! This would be a great gift to give to your husband, brother, or good friend!
