I received the new Dunkin’ Donuts flavors and a Party Kit to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank me for participating. I participated in this campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Dunkin’ Donuts. All opinions are my own.
This past weekend I hosted a Dunkin Donuts Coffee party with some of my friends and family. The purpose of the party was to introduce people to some new flavored coffee from Dunkin Donuts. The new flavored coffees are Coconut, Triple Berry, and Strawberry Shortcake.
They are being marketed as seasonal flavors that will only be available during the spring and summer. And they are not just for sale in your local Dunkin Donuts Store. You can now purchase these flavors and others in your local grocery stores. That’s great news for coffee lovers!
Getting back to the party I hosted on Sunday we all had a great time. I started the party off by ordering two large pies from our local pizza place. With my guests seated at my kitchen table we enjoyed some delicious food and great conversation. There was a little small talk and questions about the main event but I told them they would have to wait for dessert. There is nothing like building up a bit of anticipation during a party that really sets the mood. After eating lunch and cleaning up I started to brew the coffee.
The kitchen started to fill up with the wonderful aroma of flavored coffees. One of my guests commented that it was starting to smell like Dunkin Donuts. We all laughed for a bit especially after my daughter asked, “Where are the donuts?” Well we didn’t have donuts to go along with the coffee but we sure did have some nice desserts. My husband had purchased cheesecake, an ultimate crumb cake, and some raisin & apricot pastries.
With all of my guests seated at the kitchen table once again I placed three coffee pots on the table. Each coffee pot had one of the new Dunkin Donuts coffee flavors inside. I figured it would be best to let each of my guests try a little bit of each flavor so I could get their feedback. We all started out with the Triple Berry flavor. Everyone except me didn’t really like this flavor. One guest commented that berries and coffee didn’t seem to mix well. They thought the berry flavor would be more appropriate for tea. The next flavor we tried was the Strawberry Shortcake. The feedback from this flavor was more positive. My guests said that strawberry flavor was smooth and not overpowering. That it went well as a good dessert coffee. They however couldn’t see themselves drinking it in the morning with breakfast. One of my guests said it would make a great iced coffee especially during the sweltering summer. The last flavor we tried was the Coconut coffee. This flavor was an overwhelming hit with all of my guests. They said it was not to sweet and really was unique.
After we all decided on our favorite we filled up our mugs and started eating the desserts. While they were enjoying dessert I handed out the party favors. This consisted of a reusable canvas Dunkin Donuts Tote, a bag of their favorite flavored coffee, and a plastic tumbler with straw for them to enjoy their coffee. The tumbler was large and could be used for enjoying hot or iced coffee. Best thing it is BPA free which made our environmentalist guests pretty happy.
All and all we had a great time at this party hosted by Dunkin Donuts. My guests were excited to be introduced to some new flavored coffee products. They were super excited when I gave them their party gifts. At the end of the day it was all about enjoying each other’s company and sharing some great food and coffee.
I have a great recipe to share, compliments of Dunkin’ Donuts! Here is their fabulous recipe to make your own Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee at home. I definitely recommend trying the new flavors of ground coffee, but you can use the regular DD blend with it.

- 3 Cups of Cold Water, Divided
- 1/3 Cup of Sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Half-and-half
- Whipped Cream (optional)
- Brew coffee in a coffee maker, use 3/4 ground coffee and 1 and 1/2 cups of the water.
- Combine hot coffee, sugar and half and half in a pitcher. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Blend in 1 1/2 cups cold water. Chill until ready to serve.
- Pour over ice in tall glass. Add whipped cream if you like!
