PRINTCOPIA Canvas print review & Giveaway!

I don’t know about all of you but when it comes to gift ideas sometimes I get stumped.  Especially when buying for older relatives like parents and grandparents.  What do you get for the person who pretty much has everything they need?  How many sweaters, scarves, and shaving accessories does one person need?  Even for myself sometimes I have difficulty with telling people what I want as a gift when asked. 

            Recently a unique company called PRINTCOPIA™ contacted me about reviewing one of their products.  They have come up with a way to turn your photos into stunning pieces of art.  For example they can take one of your favorite photos, enlarge it and then transfer the photo onto a canvas prints or printed onto a piece of acrylic.  They can also print and frame your panoramic shots. 

            PRINTCOPIA™  (http://www.printcopia.com/) offered to do this for one of my photos.  I decided to send them a picture of my daughter and I from a wedding we attended a year ago. I wanted to see what this picture would look like on canvas.  In a week time they sent me the package with the canvas inside.  After opening the package I was pleasantly surprised.

 Like they said on their website they created a work of art out of my photo.  It looked a bit like an actual painting.  I mean you could tell it wasn’t if you looked real close but it fooled my husband.  I had hung the canvas in my daughter’s room and asked him to see if he could find anything different about her room.  After looking around her room for a couple of moments he said, “Wow, that’s a nice painting.  When did you have that done?”  Of course I explained to him what it was and then he was even more amazed.  He was like, “How did they do that?”
