Delivery.com review – online ordering website

Ok so its Friday night you’ve worked all week, your tired, the kids are hungry and your just too tired to cook.  Everyone’s in the mood for the favorite restaurant but there is one problem they don’t deliver.  You can go there and pick the food up but you just don’t want to leave the house.  You are thinking that you will have to settle for the local Chinese food or pizza place that delivers.  Well guess what you no longer have to settle.

            I was recently introduced to a company called Delivery.com. They are centralized food delivery service bringing food from your local restaurants and stores to your front door.  We were offered a complimentary gift certificate in order to try their services. 

            Well this past Friday we went on their site and plugged in our address and zip code.  Up on the screen our local restaurants were displayed.  With a click of the mouse we were able to review their menus and prices.  With another click we could add items to our shopping cart for delivery. 

            We finally decided to go with a new Thai restaurant that we were eager to try out.  We ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees specified the delivery time and gave some instructions for extra sauces.  We scheduled the delivery time for 7:15pm that night.  At around 7:25pm the food arrived at our door.  Since we pre-paid online the only money to exchange hands was for the delivery guys tip. 

            The food was sealed well in insulated packaging and yes they remembered our extra sauces.  The best thing is the food was hot and tasted great.  The delivery guy got to our house quickly allowing us to enjoy a hot and tasty dinner.  I would give delivery.com two thumbs up for excellent service and ease of use.  We look forward to our next delivery night.
